haha i deeply apologize for my previous post. i was very unaware of the length of this thread and the fact that aspendukes finally stopped talking a while ago. ignore it please.
 
I feel like people forget that oil is not a renewable resource. No non-renewable resource should be used faster than it can be replenished. We have gone wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy past that point with oil. Time for the oil tycoons to step off their impenetrable throwns and promote some progression for the world. The technology is there already, the people just aren't quite there yet. For fucks sake, for $200 you can convert your car to run on water. It won't pass a smog test but with the money you'll save, you can convert it back and forth.
 
The answer to the oil problem is so simple: genetically engineer a shit ton of dinosaurs, kill them all, and BOOM - a couple million years later, tons of new oil.

Can't believe nobody's proposed THAT yet.

I think that was the first negative thing I've seen about Obama on Stewart or Colbert's shows - although it was predictably brief. I enjoy both shows, but their ridiculously blatant support for Obama is clouding the humor lately.
