the reason i said shit tyres is cos most people cant afford to wreck good ones.
a friend of mine has a weapon of a sil80, small turbo, always on boost, no body kit, RAISED front and back bars, rear suspension so stiff you can feel the painted lines on the road. front tyres: 225/45/r18, rear tyres: 65/r16's. cant afford to smack good ones, but yes, better tyres are less likely to snap oversteer and just break out nice and smooth.
