Dreams that happen in the future

has anybody ever had a dream and then at some point in the future it happens? ive had a few of those. one time i dreamt that i was taking a tour of a castle and there was a big table that was a tree trunk split down the middle. and then about 6 months after the dream i was in the room and there was the table and it was just like this moment in my dream and the moment in real life where they just seemed to overlap and they were the same exact thing. my position in the room, where i was looking, everybodys facial expressions, everything was just like the dream. ive had this happen to me a couple other times but not as distinct. anybody else get this?
 
im also worried because i sometimes have dreams where my friends die or i go to jail or my house gets destroyed and stuff. scares me to think that someday that might actually happen...
 
i thought that was just a feeling you got where youve been somewhere before, not specifically coming from a dream? maybe im wrong
 
I know exactly what you are talking about. I have those dreams fairly often but they are never of anything significant.
 
deja vu is a pretty broad term. I think deja vu usually includes dreams. Everybody has moments of "Whoah. I think I had a dream about that a few months ago."
 
I've had stuff like that happen...for example, I'll be in someone's house, and I have already been there in a dream or something, and I already know the layout of how all the rooms are and stuff as soon as i get there. A house that I have never been to, or seen before. Weird.
 
I dreamt one time that I was looking out into this huge valley with water in it (inlet). About a month later I was at this camp in that same inlet, and I looked from the roof of this one building and it was like the same exact picture. Its so fucking wierd when that happens.
 
one time i had a dream that i drove to my old school and talked to my old german teacher, the next day i did the exact same thing and while i was doing i thought "holey shit this is exactly like the dream i had last night.
 
i have a lot of these.....maybe they don't happen exactly the same, but something from that dream will occure. such as someone's presence in my life that's extremely unexpected....etc. (i would've probably been having sex with them in my dream. ok..probably-i was. and i haven't in real life. damn shame.)
 
Its so weird when things happen that you had a dream about and they are the exact samem, and you remember the emotions and colors. Oh fuck its weird.
 
maybe itl happen in the future! zomg! i dreamt i was chillin with this cute girl with green eyes and cute freckles on a tour bus. then it happened and i told her about it and shes like a big believer in fate and stuff so she was totally intrigued by it and we hit it off. use dreams as a pick up line its pretty sweet.
 
that happens to me a few times a year. It's such a wierd feeling what your just like "whoaaaa wait a minute..." Never happened with anything important yet.
 
I have a radio alarm, and last week the radio station was playing like a techno beat, I don't remember why, but I saw these clouds and shit. Like huge Columunus clouds or whatever. They were in werid designs. The next day or day after i forget, I saw like the same thing. It was major de ja vu.
 
it seeems like every day i get a fuckin weird de ja vu fealing like i have seen and heard the exact thing that was happening, i think im going to write the dreams i can remember down and date them, so i can prove if im right
 
i had a dream once where these two guys killed my bro...and then me and shea like went a after them and for like a while and tryed to figure everything out like whyt hey killed them then idk how but i killed them i think i woke up before i killed the second guy though
 
deja vu is a brain fart pretty much. its when one side of the brain processes what you see before the other so it makes you feel youve seen it before. your brain normally recovers pretty quick though
