Sega recently updated their trademark and here is what was in the trademark filling:

"home video game machines; player-operated electronic controllers for

electronic video game machines; video game interactive controller,

namely, hand held pads, and floor pads or mats; joysticks for video

games; computer cursor control devices, namely, computer mouse; flash

memory cards; video game software, computer game programs"

everything needed to make a videogame console.

maybe it will be Sony vs Microsoft vs Sega vs Nintendo
 
Dreamcast is so much sicker than ps2 or Xbox. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I grew up having so much damn fun on that thing. It was so ahead of its time, and all those pointless Japanese-import games kicked so much ass!

They should make it with the same controllers as the Dreamcast. I would sooo buy it.
 
So true. Dreamcast was my first game system... and it was SICK. I love that thing. I still have it. It was a tragedy when I lost my copy of Powerstone 2. Im still convinced my mom stole it so I would do my homework then forgot where she hid it. I always secretly hope that I will be looking in some random part of my house and find it. O what a great day that would be.

they could just be registering it so no one else makes a product they didn't register under their name..
 
Well seeing as Gunrock was a guy and Samus a girl, it might be the other way around.....

The dreamcast just came out at the wrong time. It was too late to compete with the playstation and the n64. It came out a little too soon to take advantage of technology that would let it compete with the ps2 and xbox. Also, sega is just protecting their trademarks. Nothing new is coming. They're in too deep with nintendo now to make a new system of their own.
 
Word. Jigglypuff and Yoshi are the only characters that I still can't play well with. Its physically impossible to be good with them.
 
Samus, Kirby and Pikachu were my specialties. Nothing like a bit of Captain Falcon on the side though. If Mario ever grabbed hold of you, he'd fuck you up with his bling. Such good times...
 
umm, ever considered that sega makes DDR games and arcade machines? thats what all that is for, sorry to get your hopes up.

i have a dreamcast and i love it, i burned so many games for it it's crazy. probably the best game is marvel vs capcom, virtua tennis, or sega bass fishing
 
dreamcast was unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that concole is so ill. it has provided me with many a good memories of long hours w/ cool peoples in front of sonic adventure and jet set radio.
 
Well, I think Smash was alot better. But powerstone 2 FUCKING ROCKED! The whole items thing was siiiick, I spent so much time playing that game.

POWERSTONE 2! IT'S A POWERSTONE WORLD!

Haha anyway, I don't think they will come out with a DC2. Sega doesn't have the power to produce a product to compete with Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft. I think if they do, it will just fail due to terrible marketing (The problem that killed the DC) and the fanbase already accumulated by the other video game power houses.
 
hahaha that is so 1999. I will stick with my snes and n64 and ps2. and game boy pocket. too many consoles actually..
