Dream-skiing

Its no secret that we are all suffering. Skiing withdrawl has taken its toll on alot of us...

Last night I dreamed that i was skiing. Somehow i was able to throw down a cork 5 with a tweaked nosegrab? And then buttered up a 360 followed by a backflip?? The worst part is, it all felt so easy.

How come i am literally the craziest skier in the game while i sleep?

i’m able to land everything in my dreams. what’s weird is i continually come back to the same “dream mountain” that is unlike anything i have been to before. this dream mountain trail design remains the same, even when there are months between my visceral skiing dreams…

i have dreamt multiple times of doing the illusive cork 3 and it gets me every time bc it feels so easy in the dream but i can’t seem to come close when i try.

BIG advocate of lucid ski dreams.

If you can’t remember your dreams, start a dream journal. As soon as you wake up. Write down whatever you remember from your dream in your iPhone notes or some shit. Once you do this it helps a ton with making your dreams lucid. Not gonna go into depth on how to lucid dream (research it a little) but once you can, you can start having realistic lucid ski dreams. Start doing tricks you want in your dreams and I’m pretty sure it trains your brain/ muscle on how to actually do it. There’s been times where I’ve dreamt of certain tricks and I go out and try them on snow that weekend and I already know what to do, and it comes easier than I thought. I can feel all of my ski and whole body at every aspect during the entirety of the trick in my dream.

Won’t go too much into a wormhole but it will most certainly take your creativity and execution to higher places. Never ceases to amaze me on how powerful the mind is.

I got the same thing man. The same mountain but it's never like an actual mountain or even similar to another mountain. Love tht mountain tho I throw down on it.

I don't really ski dream but I was dabbling in some fire lines and hiking some stuff a week or two ago. Felt good even though a dream lol.

I cant really dream anymore because Ive fried my sleep schedule and drugs probably dont help. However the only dream I can still clearly remember is a ski dream I had when I was 10 or so ~12 years ago. Just a dream of me hitting the little side jumps and having a blast. I had just finished the day of skiing with my family and past out immediately. I think it was the day I solidified my love for skiing.

Ski dreams are super realistic, floaty like you can see everything during the spin (no blind spots), rails are locked inch perfect, pretz upon pretz and even the speed feels realistic.

Henriks narration in oil and water is super sick talking about this stuff.

peace

I have 2 dreams:

I dream that I can do anything I want on skis and I'm a total ripper who can land beautiful 3s and backies and corks

I am trying to go skiing and forget every piece of gear I own at home and make 3 or 4 trips back and forth between my house and the mountain, or forget gear and try to jimmy rig it all together only to wake up right before I go skiing/get on the lift

Yes bro the second one too! Trying to find ski gear like whack-a-mole

my typical ski dream starts with cruising, floaty tricks and then outta nowhere i overshoot a jump super bad, you know that feeling you get when you see the landing getting further away when you were supposed to land? yeah that "fuck" moment wakes me up every time

Every dream wake up is from overshooting a jump and then feeling my legs when I wake up to make sure they still good haha
