i'm thinking about pressing some skis and am trying to figure out what dimensions i want...
i want them for pow so i'm thinking:

under the foot = 100
tip = 125
tail = 118
length = 171
camber(rocker) = -24

what is your guys dream ski dimensions???

120/95/120

the rocker similar to anthems or moment tahoes(not too significant)

speaking of moment

square tips would be sweet too.

duude now you have me thinking about it....

i think an eddie van halen 5150 style graphic would be sweet for the base

maybe an eric pollard mountain sketch for the topsheets.

haha nice

my topsheet graphic is gonna be like a heaven and hell thing. left ski heaven right ski hell...
they will be called the Zion

me and my friend are gonna build a press and build some skis and boards... maybe start selling in very limited amounts. gonna be very experimental though, lots of new ideas are going into these

that is sooo sick

i would buy those.

how much do you think it would cost to press a ski in the mid 90s underfoot and 120 symmetrical tip/tail

no problem... idk if i'm making them yet... i need to sort out the money with my friend and my dad is against it cuz he thinks its a waste of time but maybe it will happen. at my school there is this science competition thing so that might be a good excuse to make them... as i said before i would make them very experimental using new types of cores maybe, maybe a version of "butter zones", etc.
but if did it, it would be sick

light and durable as fuck.

120-95-120

size 174 with mini rocker in front and back

fully symmetrical

mounted with z12s and used with hotdogger boots.

square tips

medium flex

aspen core

fastest base

sharp edges that dont catch on rails

ollieband

major pop

i think thats about it

and a custom graphic by my brother.

make sure the turning radius is ok too. you can't just be like "i want it kinda fatty here, and maybe tapered a little in the tail, and i want a ski that's 100 underfoot". those numbers might sound rad when you just through them out there, just be careful that you dont get some nutty radius, which prolly would happen more often than not if ppl just started making their "dream dimensions". even real small changes in running surface or difference in symmetry, etc. can impact it hugely. id just check the numbers before actually making the skis. im sure they'll work out and be sweet. good luck and way to go. i don't think its a waste of time as long as you do a good job. and you'll learn so much about like everything, not just skis, though youll definitely know a thing or two about those.

125 - 98 - 125

mid-stiff flex (think reno jibs)

rockered / flat or slight camber underfoot

slight early taper

176 cm long

simple graphic something like the amplid antidogma

my perfect powder/big line ski:

legnth: 198

sidecut: 140 - 115 - 125

flex: really hard

and a rocker only in front and not too much... like the salomon rockers 07/08

length 186

150-122-150

rockered

noodle soft

110 cm of affective edge

square tips

rasta bases

cascade mountains for top sheet
