p10 and p12's are the same. how can u not like one and like the other.

they maybe be basically the same binding....

but due to the difference in din they are useful for different people.

You want you din to be in the middle of the bindings din range, not maxed out.

So skiing a p10 at a din of 9 is bad for the spring....that is where the P12 comes in
