Dream Quiver

I'm sure there was a thread like this in the past but the search bar is being a bitch. What are your guy's dream quivers?

Mine would probably be as follows:

Moment Deathwish w/ Pivots

Line Sakana w/ Cast

Bentchetler 120 w/ shifts

J Skis All-play w/ Pivots

something like [tag=189437]@DominatorJacques[/tag] collection of skis he's amassed over the years haha. I want to walk into my garage when im older and have just about every ski for everything lol. but pretty hyped on a ON3P/4FRNT quiver in the past few years.

I have too many skis. It's truly a burden, as I like to service them well.

I think this season I will put a few through the goal post of life.

I really liked my old 1080 Space Frame skis, but the torsional rigidity is gone in them now.

Yet to ski my Mikala Atomic GS skis, and only one groomer run on my Candide 4.0's.

My old skis that are still ridged (sp) are hard to part with!

I guess I have all I need for now, so it is a dream from long ago!

Why sakanas with cast? So you can tour up the groomers?

I toured with my friends Sakana's last year and it was really fun on spring corn. I know it sounds weird but you'd be surprised. Also I just love the Sakana anyway.

Jeffery 108 as inbounds daily big resort

Armada stranger for smaller resorts just to make it fun.

Bent chets for powder, buy some daymakers for the occasional tour

Blizzard Firebird HRC for beer league and super icy days

Bdog edgeless for other fuckery

I have a CT 1.0, a Prodigy 2.0, Jeffrey 108, obSETHed, and a Bent Chetler 120. All have Pivot 14s except for the Bents which have 15s and a CAST. Been working on this for a while, I’ve been buying and selling skis for a couple years now and I’m now fully stoked on every ski in my quiver so it’s pretty much the dream. If I had infinite wealth I’d also add a Blend, a Deathwish, a Pettitor, an Elizabeth, a CT 5.0 and a Pescado.

Black ops with cast for pow

Jeffery 108 with cast for daily

Vishnu wides for fun

Line sakanas for carve

I’ve assembled a massive quiver and I’m thinking about selling everything and just having an ARV 106 for park, another for inbounds, mounted 2 back and then a third pair with a kingpin for touring. The ski just dominates everything

I have sakanas, and pescados, convince me to put cast/shift on them

and BC120s on shifts.

deathwish with pivot 18s were snatched under my nose here now, $300 :(

I can't speak about touring on the Pescados, but the Sakana's performed much better than I expected. Obviously, its a really light ski which helps on the uphill. On soft spring corn it was super fun to carve on, and even in deeper powder, it was still a ton of fun. The Sakana is definitely one of my favorite spring skis ever, and it's a blast to tour on.

I had a pair of BC120s a three years ago, I mounted them with some frame bindings and got 5 days on them in Nelson, BC's backcountry. Then I came home and had them and some J skis Whippits stolen out of our garage that night >:(.

I got a pair of deathwishes last March and got a few resort days on them, and a ton of touring after covid hit. they are my all-around favorite ski ever and would be happy with just those. 300$ is a hell of a deal

My current setup:

Volkl RaceTiger 175

Head Venturi 95 181 STH

BentChetler 100 188

J Ski Hotshot 189 STH

Moment Bibby 116 184

Line Pescado 180

BentChetler's, Bibby's and Pescado's all have binding freedom inserts for Shifts and STH.

The Pescado makes a great touring ski in anything deeper than 15cm. Lightweight, very short tail for kick turns, never loose a tail clip. And they're great for noodleing around on low angle terrain.

Ideal quiver:

Moment Deathwish 190 w/pivots and cast - western resort charging and sidecountry

Line Vision 108 183 w/Kingpins - Backcountry

Faction Prodigy 2.0 183 w/pivots - Low tide/east coast/park/spring

Have the prodigy's and looking at picking up the visions this year, DW might be next year/summer purchase when I can move back out west, ski looks like too much fun

Armada Edollo 2017 W/ Pivots

• Armada Edollo 2020 W/ Pivots

Line Blend 2021 W/ Pivots

Line Sir Francis Bacon 2021 W/ Pivots

Armada Magic J W/ Gold Cast/Pivots

Armada BDOG EDGELESS ZERØ W/ Pivots

My spring fun/fuck around ski: Armada Bdog/Jskis Vacation in a short length

My go really fast ski: Fatypus D Sender 194, light and strong with just the right amount of poing in the nose

My playful pow ski: Reckoner 112

My shred the groomer ski: Line Blade

Also: Whatever race skis they use in Kitzbuhel with 5 sheets of Titanal or whatever that is and weighs like 35 lbs.

Also #2: Fatypus A-Lotta at 140 mm underfoot for absolutely no reason.

If I could have a dream quiver then I'd literally have every ski that has ever seemed interesting to me and then some. Lol
