Hey guys, so I'm getting dreadlocks pretty soon and I have a few questions. I was wondering if there were any ways to make them look less natty while they lock because I work at a caribou. My hair is 4-5' long and I'm getting pretty thin ones. I'm using the dread headz HQ product kit.

Any other suggestions or tips for me?

Dreads look like shit but hey, whatever floats your boat. As long as you take care of them and clean them so that spiders don't make nests in them.
 
They're gonna look so greeazy for the first week, wear a bandanna, they'll just be covered in wax while you can't get them wet.

I got mine in grade 7, went to a salon and it took 2 hours. Cut em off in grade 9, the middle was white dandruff. I didn't really take care of em and they got pretty ratty near the bases

Don't use wax, just wash your hair with salt water... or not at all.

But it depends on why your getting dreads.

I wear dreads because I don't cut my hair.
