i know that im gonna get replys from people saying, your only gonna get dreads because t-hall has them, but no, ive been concidering getting dreads longer that tanner has had his, so dont say anything about that, im wonderin how much crap im gonna get at school for havin em, do any of you have them?
 
i had them for about a month last year. they're really hard to wash properly without wrecking them, and generally just annoying when you're trying to sleep (in my opinion). but bitches love them, and we all know that's what really matters.

of course, bitches love fros too, which is why i'm rockin one (it's a lot easier to take care of as well, so if you can pull off a fro then i'd recommend doing that instead.
 
they take a while to get going... prolly at least a year to be balla, not really worth all the work but if thats what will make you happy who am i to stop you... good luck... get them done professionally and get some lock pepper and good wax... www.dreadheadhq.com should do the trick

there are some places (hair salons? barber shops?) where you can get them professionally done, they look sick that way, cause they are smaller and not like HUGE clumps. My buddy did that and they were sickk! Some bitches fucking LOVED them, it was crazy.
 
Well yeah, you'll "get more attention", which is good and bad. There'll be most of the teachers and over-40 year-olds looking down at you as rebellious, etc, and there'll be some girls and people that think dreads are "unclean". But then, everyone else thinks you're so awesome and you get a lotta bitches. I'd say get 'em.
 
i tried to give myself dread locks but apperantly i messed up and completely fucked up my hair and had to cut it all off. Make sure you do it the right way!!!!!
 
If I was going to get em I'd do it natural. Not with anytype of wax or anything.

I'd say just grow your hair out pretty long then just stop washing it with shampoo. Just water, roll it up, knot it, whatever.

I worked with a cat from texas who hadn't cut his hair since he was born, shit was legit.
 
I don't know what girls you guys know but every girl I've talked to says they are the gross

Its not worth it if you ask me, pretty gross and it looks pretty stupid
 
I hosted a german exchange student who had dreads that were fucking balla
don't make them too big- that's when they start to look grimy
you will prob get shit for them too- unless they're too dope for anyone to care
there's this kid at my school who has them and we just call him "dreads" or "hippy" but he is a hippy so what are you gonna do?
 
I have been wanting to get dreads for a while now and i was thinking about having my hair half dreaded, like a dread here or there but all mixed in with my "locks" (pirate style), and i was wondering if they would be less work then a full dread head?
 
i have had mine for almost a year now and i love them to death and dont plan on getting rid of them any time soon
 
id say my dad gave me the most shit. i had mine during the summer like 4 years ago so i wasnt at school but most my friends liked em.
