Dreadlocks

i think your hair would dread pretty good. how thin is it though? thicker hair is easier, but that doesnt mean that dreading thin hair is impossible. my hair was just about as long as yours is but it was straight.
 
hahaha you can call me whatever you want but i love my dreads, you opinion matters very little to me. im a sophomore in college and am majoring in culinary arts.
 
how long was your hair before you did it? im worried that they would shorten my hair too much. i would have to have my normal hair super long to have some decent length ones.
 
my hair was pretty long, maybe 8 or 9 inches. they only shortened up a little bit, not as much as i was expecting
 
im up to 40$ i need 90 for the dread kit and it comes with super dope beads and a sick hat, and some shampoo. as soon as i get that, then i have 5 or 6 kids lined up that are dread expirenced either with helping or having them. so gunna be epic
 
to everyone in this thread that keeps saying dreads are nasty and stuff, you're all idiots

the only way you should ever have dirty dreads is if your getting them by the neglect method which is not washing/brushing your hair ever...and not alot of people do that

i have dreads and they arent any dirtier than my hair before i got them
 
haha oh brooklynn, bold shit ur pullin good luck with it :) I got a girl friend who got dreads and it looked so dope on her but then she went to spain to live for a year (not too many girls with dreads) and then she had to cut them all out :(
 
you can go somewhere and get them done professionally.

i think you would look awesome with really fine dreads as long as you kept them neat and tidy!!
 
i am a skier, meaning i am broke, and i do not have the money for a person to stand up for 6 hours dreading my hair... its cheaper having friends do it and they all know what they are doing

Every girl I've seen with them has suited them. Just make sure you get them thin enough.

what kit are you talking about? your not using wax are you?
 
I've done my reserch and the most legit thread kid has the profesional back combs and a how to do thing wax, lockin spray, and a cool hat and some beads and shampoo and all that stuff
 
Your decision. however I think you would be happier in the long run with natural, comb back only dreads. No wax or sprays. but what ever the case, good luck to you. and I hope we see a pic after.
 
personally i dont like dreads and kind of think theyre nasty. but if you can pull if off, might as well do it! looks good on some peoplee.

Do it.

Dreads are sick, and you could pull it off, just make sure to keep them clean and not to use shampoo that'll leave residue, or your knots will fall out.

But yeah, blonde dreads can be way hot, and I think you'd look really good with them.

I've done alot of research on dreads and im buyin the non-residue scalp and dread shampoo from knottyboy
 
did it, didn't wait for the kit did it with toothpaste haha sounds gay, and ghetto ill get pics up when i get a cam but im glad i did it. haven't told my parents yet :]
