You know those long black things with ripples in them? haha i wonder how that sounded...anyways anyone ever tried em for jibs? i could see catching edges as being a problem but? never tried one, so any help?

theres a video around here somewhere from some movie last year.. i dunno who it was.. but it was pretty cool, made a funny noise

my mountain has one but i never hit it ever since i saw a dude get owned on it. i think it would be a better feature for boarders.

everyone whos saying they're sketch, they're def not at all.

SOO much fun to hit, just as easy if not easier then a metal tube. The metal corrugated tubes are the ones that have a tendency to catch edges, the black abs tubes are super fun super smooth and really easy to pretz.

when those 'ripples' are in something it's called "corrugated", as in corrugated cardboard. I think those are also called "culverts" if you're talking about the ones that go under driveways, etc. Not trying to be a smartass, just expanding you're vocabulary.

^^^ Dammit, the word was escaping me, and I was much too lazy to go and look it up. You did come off as a smart ass though ;)

tog has one, my local mtn

and mt snow has one, its a metal one tho, there are a ton of fun

coregated pipes they are called fyi

I always thought that they were really skecthy but this season i decided to try them out. they are just as easy as any other rail if not easier. they are real fun to spin on and spin off of and they make that cool sound. i understand when people get scared of them because they can mess you up. but as long as it is set up as a down rail then there really isn't anything to worry about. so next time you see one try it at least once, i guarantee you it will be a fun time.

bolton valley VT has one. we call it sczhwoopy. they are fun because you can kind of bend them to give it a lip at they end for spinning

my hill had one last year... they are super fun to slide... yeah there is a chance you can catch an edge sliding but what the hell so what... they are fun to both slide and jib.

4bi9 had a podcast where this kid 270 on 270 prtzl out... really sick, sick sound

they are really easy actually just keep front edge at a tilt

these things are so much fun dude... seriously. I did get my back ski caught and it popped off but finishing the jib one ski was fun too so it didnt bother me hahaha
