YEAH! DRAGONFORCE is so great. I have all their music. If they ever play a show in the US, I will drive many states to see it. I would see shredding coming to pass at such high speeds that had never before been seen in these parts. I mean, Herman did win the Best Young Shredder at the Golden God's Metal Hammer awards... or whatever they're called.
 
dragonforce is the SHIT their so amazing. they get you so hyped so fast. its like an injection of superpower!
 
they're touring in may with protest the hero, another a very talented band. i know they will be in denver on may 8th, but you'll have to check around for other dates.

Protest The Hero are a sick band, and DragonForce fuckin own. Since I'm taking a year off before heading to uni, haha I'm gonna seriously consider that show.
 
they had trampolines on stage so they could do sick 360s and stuff mid-guitar-solo at the show I went to. EXTREME!!!!

My buddy's brother invited 3 of us up to Toronto to see Dragonforce and HORSE the Band. FUCK it's gonna be sick.
 
Yeah, I am 100% serious!! Sam almost fell on his face after landing not quite right, haha.

Also, they had a little pedestal with a really powerful fan in front of it, so they could stand on it, and their long hair would billow behind them like they were riding into battle or something, hahah.

saw them last night. Greatest. Show. Ever!@!!!!!!!! seriously. i dont think ive ever witnessed shredding to that degree before. im going to pawn all i own, buy like 8 ibanez axes, and a room full of stacks, and just dedicate myself to adventure metal for the rest of my life. unreal. i had never seen so much hair on one stage in my life. if you dont see them, youre missing out.
 
my friend is seein them at a early show on sept 30, and then like an hour after that show they play again 20 minutes away so hes going aagain. how fuckin sickkk
 
Its called Power Metal bro. Their music videos are funny sometimes to. Like in Opertation Ground and Pound when Herman and Sam are at it in their like 4 minute long solos about 3 minutes into it it shows the camera over to ZP at the green screen with some coffee and he's like i dunno when their gonna end
 
i find it weird how people who normally dont like metal like this band. seems more like a band you have to respect metal to respect. its like sonata arctica and nevermore. only people into metal will like em
 
i love this post. the way that people describe their first dragonforce experience is so great. you hear words that you dont hear in regular conversation. like the phrase "mutant lightning bolt"

i smile just to think of back when i was first introduced to their greatness.

Its just too bad they cant really solo as well live and all their studio stuff is quant'd and vocoded. Still, the studio albums are epic metal, but for gods sake KILL YOUR VOCALIST
 
i fuckin hate dragonforce. its like Journey or Foreigner mixed in with a little metallica on acid. I give them props cause they are talented musicians, just dont like their music
 
it's actually GOOD metal. they singer's not just singing, there's good melody and rhythm, and it's not all about satan and shit. i just got sonic firestorm, i'm pumped. fury of the storm is kickass.

I think that a person's opinion about Dragonforce is a good indication of their character. If you love them, it means you are cool and know how to have a good time, I mean let's face it, 99% of ns'ers are white. Embrace your metal-battle roots anglo-saxons.

If you don't like them, there's a good chance I wouldn't like you in person. You need to take yousrelf less seriously, take a break from hip-hop, cuz you just don't get it,(by "it" I mean life.)
 
You do know that Led Zeppelin is considered the first metal band ever right?

Metal does have anglo-saxon roots, if you were sarcastic...
 
that's the point though, they're different in that they aren't x-core goth satan shit metal with extreme lack of rhythm, melody, and excess screaming.
