DragonCon...let the hate being!!

DragonCon is in Atlanta this weekend,! A fellow NS member and I went downtown yesterday to indulge our nerdiness. Here's some pics from our day.

There was a huge SteamPunk presence there. This is the girl we met outside the Hilton, she hand-made everything she's wearing.

There was a giant parade in the morning before the events started, and the majority of people were Storm Troopers.

DragonCon literally is the best event i have ever been too... better that world superpipe championships in PCMR.

It was nuts, and next year me and inkshrink are getting the whole weekend passes, and blowing all our money on products, and other shiit...and a hotel room, so we can party the night away.

Thats how AMAZING it was.
 
I have always wanted to go to Blizzcon...That would be sick as hell. But I have never heard of DragonCon before.
 
ive never heard of any of these con things. looks fuckin' lame though not that i dont get down on some nerdy shit, i just hate lines and crowds and masses of slow moving people more than anything in the world.
 
We were going to go to BlizzCon but things came up. DragonCon is only in Atlanta I think, and it comes every Labor Day weekend. It really a giant nerd festival, with all sorts of events, tournaments, fights, demos, games, movies, bands, and partying. It's ridiculous.
 
A lot of people haven't even heard of Steampunk. I think it's really cool. I'm ordering a custom order steampunk style keyboard for christmas.
