Dragon vs. Von Zipper vs. Nike vs. Electric

Wussuh dudes,

I've got a pal who works in a skate/surf/snow store who can supply me with a gnarly discount off the above mentioned goggle brands. I know they're not the most elite snow goggles but I'm already sitting way over budget on next seasons gear so the discount will be warmly welcomed by my wallet.

What would you do?

Dragon NFX

Love my NFXs but note that they will look silly with any helmet.

Electric are usually more expensive so if you are on a budget don't bother.

Nike is rebranded dragon, so again it will be more expensive so don't bother.

Nike sucks. Anything but nike.

yeaaa screw the man bring him down!.....idiot. I have owned nike ski gear before and they have always been pretty top notch quality honestly. Def not the cheapest than again I could care less about supporting one company or another as most are owned by a larger corporate parent anyways. Only core company I regularly buy from are my skis from Surface.

clothes, helmets, goggles, etc....dont really care. Give me a good quality/price ratio and i'll buy it

ALSO - which goggle out of the 4 manufacturers has the most efficient lense change system?

Again I'd say NFX, just cause out of those companies ive used nfx and eg2's. Eg2's get annoying with that lense change system. Nfx is so simple with the lock shit

The way the NFX are designed the top of the frame sticks out away from your face. The result is the top of your googlies will sit farther out than the brim of your helmet and create a funny shelf type thing.

I rarely wear a helmet, but when I do it doesn't bother me too much. Just figured I would note that. I have never seen them actually fit any helmet and I've heard others complain about it.

deez.

Nike goggles are just re-branded Dragon goggles. Electric gogs are all decent, except for the EG3, and I haven't had any experience with VZ.

I'd go with either the X1 or NFX from Dragon. both have better peripheral vision than the X2/NFX2, still have armored vents and come with two lenses.

Ah yeah, I hear what you're saying. Looking like a gumby isn't very high on my priority list so cheers for that

Yeah I'm not a fan of the EG3's, but then again, I dont really like any of the massively oversized frameless lenses. I susses the EG2's in person just recently and I think they need to toe the line between frameless and framed a little better.

Appreciate the input!

Yeah dawg, this is what I froth on. Do you own them/have you had experience with them before?

Naw I looked on the website and chose the ones that looked dope as fuck

But in all honesty I've seen VZ goggles on skiers before and have looked at them in shops and they look high quality. I can imagine the top goggle in their fleet would bring nothing but the best

I'll let you know how they are once they're plastered to my skull

the dragon APXs are pretty sick too. I think they got rebranded to the X1/X2? but the lens swap system is insanely easy.

My housemate has APX's actually, he froths on them! The change over is too easy
