Hey guys, I've been riding my K2 axis for 2 years and am looking to switch to twin tipped skis for all mountain freestyle with the ability to also carve moguls. Which do you guys reccomend and why?

thnx

scratch bc is not even close to the same ski as those mogul skis.

bc is for pow, mogul is for moguls, and i dont know about the DS. but you cant compare the mogul and the BC

Mogul skis arent really twin tipped anyways...

And They Say There's A Marajuana Problem!... There's No Problem, Everyone Has It...

oo.. lol apples to oranges, but would i still be able to go all mountain and carve up moguls on scratch bc?

moguls on scratch bc?.. i dunno man, if you are fucking sick in moguls and could ski them with any ski then yes.. but otherwise i dunno man

Smoking pot leads to uhh... I forget.

are you zippering moguls? like full on racing, cause you can ski moguls with any ski, as long as your not going through a race course.

mogul skis are a little narrow (stability) and arn't twinned that much for park, but they would work, the bc would be better in the park if you got a shorter lenght

Dumbass u r joking right cuz u cant compare a BC ski to a Mogul ski.

There is no such thing as shitty snow only shitty skiers.

If it was easy they would call it snowboarding.

I need to know it :)

get a pair of Head Mojos...they are super fat and wickedly durable. Stiff responsive ski too...I worship mine.

work to ski...but only if you ski to work. The simple equation to skibumming 101

the Dragonslayer is a *sick* mogul ski. Thing rips bumps like no other. 1080 mogul is meh, imo.

As all the other guys have said, pretty much any twin will do moguls fairly well, you don't need a pro-level mogul ski unless you're a pro-level mogul skiier.

I ski a lot of moguls and do the competition stuff too. I've been really impressed with the trouble makers in the bumps. I will be getting a mogul ski though because the skis really take a beating, especially on the tips and just to have a real mogul ski. A pure mogul ski will not work well for all mountain. Most of the good all mountain twins will be fine for the moguls as long as its not too wide and you aren't a serious mogul skier. Also, the back tip on all the mogul skis that say they are twins is not raised much at all, maybe the rossi mogul from a few years back is the only one I'd call a twin tip.

i think a good ski for you would be the dynastar twister(not the limited), the normal twisters are a little shaped and have a decent amount of twin

a lot of the kids i ski with have the twisters and they like them a lot, i have the twister limiteds for moguls, and they're good for the moguls

i ski bumps all the time with my head mojos, pretty much the same measurments as the BC and i have no prob with them, the BC is a softer ski though so i bet it would do a little better when initiating your next turn. fat skis can work in bumps, it depends on the skill of the skier.

Yeah, I want a good powder/bump ski too. Haha!

Candides and the old 1080's are some of the skinnier twins. I skied Treoublemakers and thought they were too fat and slow.

mid fats......
