ok yesterday i was doing an urban session with my friend. on one of the runs where i landed it stomped and rode away it felt like i might have tweaked my knee a little but after a few seconds the pain went away and i kept on hitting it. last night i iced it and used bengay to try to help it. this morning i find i cant straighten my leg 100% IT stops at about 95% and has pain in the back outise of my knee. what should i do???

begay, flexall, icyhot, doesnt do dick. it doesnt get hot...or cold enough to provide therapeutic benefits. sounds like MENISCUS. or maybe poplitius.

going to grad school for sports med 'claim'

No you don't want them plaguing your society and your government run health care. If he has health insurance and actually believes there is something wrong with his knee he should go seek out a professional opinion.

could be anything dude. with that evidence not even a knowledgeable NS'er could diagnose it. to be sure you gotta go get it scanned.

Sounds like meniscus to me..soft tissue shit can be super sketchy though. wouldn't be a bad idea to see a doc if it feels worse or the same tomorrow

i had something like that after slamming my knee on the ground when i was maybe 11, it turned out to have formed a cyst in the back of my knee. i was going to have to get it drained but it mysteriously went away by itself...

no dont go see a chiropracter. if you see anyone besides a doctor, see a physical therapist.

However the best thing to do is what we call RICE where R=rest I=Ice C=compress E=elevate. if you make sure that your leg is elevated and you have ice on it for 10 min at time, then you should start to feel better. if it doesn't feel better within a couple days then it could be your lateral collateral ligament or your miniscus and at that point you need to see a doctor.

Good luck

F U i dunno about yours but my chiropractor is the shit, any problem I have he can find out why, where it actually is and can fix it without meds.
