Hey doc.

I think I'm dying. My head will have a very sharp throb-like thing in one particular spot (3/4 of the way to the front of my head, 2 inches to the right on the right side of my noggin). all of these symptoms came on suddenly right before bed. The head ache keeps waking me up. and before bed i thought i was going to throw up. migrane? I have never had one before, but my mom gets them VERY rarely. Also, there was quite a bit of competitive physical activity (rush week=nuts) before bed. also, im going between hot and cold, but not as bad as with the flu. would dehydration make sense? I started a creatine program about a week ago, and i also drank an energy drink today (diuretic). i would like to say that this is almost certainly not caused by stress or exhaustion. any ideas?

yo i had the same exact symptoms at the beginning of this week when i was in my 2nd day of recovering from a really bad hangover/food poisoning i thought i was pretty hydrated, but in reality i wasn't so the night it was real bad i took some CVS Extra Strength Pain Relief Caplets and continued to drink water and the next morning i woke up feeling pretty good so i took some more in the a.m. then drank some more water and was good to go. So to answer your question: Yes I do think you are dehydrated.

thanks man. thats pretty much what i did last night: popped some naproxen and drank lots of water. now im feeling alright. stomach still hurts a bit but i cant feel my death head ache so i cant complain. thanks again, 10/10

karma for whoever posts the pic, my right bracket is broken =(

not being a doctor or anything I would say it is caused by stress and dehydration. When I get dehydrated I usually get head aches and body aches. I suggest getting some non sugary fluids (smart water) and rest a little. Is light making the head ache worse or no? If so then it is a migrane (spelling?)

its not a brain tumor, if it was that you would wake up in the morning with a headache that gets a little better through the day... you could just be really dehydrated.

yeah hot and cold+ feeling like you have to throw up+ headache= dehidration

Cure: take one advil, drink like 4 to 6 glasses of water (even though your body doesnt want to), wait a bit and if the head ache and symtoms dont go away take another advil. dont play video game or watch tv
