Dont really know whats the deal with limewire now but if anyone knows any other music downloading sites that aren't in court right now post them please
 
yes that is why I made this thread.... but I just used lime wire so never needed to go to anything else.... but thanks for the replies
 
soulseek is awesome...ive had it for quite some time and its never done anything weird to my computer if your worried about that
 
Yeah word, I just discovered how to route the internal stereo mix into Audacity. Sweet for ripping samples/ recording sets from Ableton easy.
 
easiest way is online

example: wiz khalifa this plane mp3

if that doesnt work for the song you're looking for, search the whole album

example: wiz khalifa deal or no deal rar

example: wiz khalifa deal or no deal zip

Search "Name of the album/artist +album" and then add any of the above (I prefer mediafire) at the end of your search and you should get results" For example, I could google search: "Horse Feathers House With No Home mediafire" and I would get this result: http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=horse+feathers+house+with+no+home+mediafire&aq=f&aqi=p-p1&aql=f&oq=&gs_rfai=CESqOGIvjTL-mJpPIM4Sc4OgBAAAAqgQFT9AoXiE&psj=1&fp=8d8dc79919fbb9a2
The first three links in this example are good because they have mediafire in the URL, don't be confused by any websites that sound like "mediafirebot/mediafiredownload/mediafireRULES etc." they only have ads.
Similarly, "filestube.com" can give good results if you can't find anything with the above suggestions, but I always reserve it for last.
And if all else fails there's always torrents. I'm on campus so I have to stay away from them cause' the university looks for it, but you might have better luck. My favorite torrent site is demonoid.com.
Good luck, and stay away from limewire/frostwire. They suck.

Do the method prescribed two posts above mine...or go to mp3boo.com or mp3crank.com and they do it for you. Great sites, mp3crank just started so they don't have as many albums, but mp3boo has tons.
 
google'ing a song with mp3 or mediafire tag along with it is a really god way like posted earlier....but sometimes it can be tough to find less popular songs using that technique. usually if it can't find a song i'm looking for by google'ing it, i'll use soulseek. deff recommend soulseek and i guarantee you won't get any viruses from it.
 
Either use beemp3 but I dont like the different windows that come up, but whats good is you can listen to the song before you download it.

Sometimes i just type the song name +mediafire and it sends me a direct link to download the mp3. Easy as taking a piss
 
probably a stupid question but using demonoid or piratebay or those torrent sites dont you need to use limewire or frostwire or something as well?
