Have a bunch of HD footy on a borrowed cam that has to go back to owner tomorrow. All I have as of now is Imovie (pathetic I know) so I cant download it. I tried to download Imovie HD but it says my hard drive cant handle it or something. Its a relatively new macbook with a lot of space on it. Can you tell me where to get a program I can download? (vegas, final cut etc.) I know everybody says bittorrent but I can never figure it out. link maybe? ++Karma.

wait so your trying to get the footage from the camera to the computer?
cant you just upload it without a program

just click on teh clips, and drag em onto your desktop

its new as in I have barely put anything on it at all, its not the newest gen, the one before the most recent gen. I have to select a program to import the clips with

I can also use my desktop which has more memory etc. so if somebody does give me a link it does not have to be mac specific

If its an intel macbook it had imovie HD. Just open up imovie and import that shit son.

shit just wont go, I click import Imovie HD project and it shows a big X through my hard drive icon and the "import" button is blacked out. All i can do is click cancel

fuck imovie, says importing, plays on cam view finder but just shows a blank blue screen on comp. doesnt import anything

umm ya you can, i figured it all out via settings on the cam and you see you footage on the comp screen and the cam screen while it downloads.
