Downloading dvds on a mac?

I just bought a brand new macbook with a dvd burner and I can't even figure out how to get my skis dvd's downloaded onto the comp.  Any tips?

Go to google.com and search Handbrake, its a burning tool, pretty good i think.

handbrake works like magic, so easy to use

 

[Itsbackfliptime]

handbrake will rip it as a few different types of video files.

MacTheRipper will just rip the video_ts files.
