Download your friends music! right from itunes!

I downloaded an older version (which should allow downloads) but how do you add a friend? I have a plus sign at the bottom but it's like grey and unclickable..

This just flat out doesn't work for me.

Most of the songs I click don't even load, and when one kind of actually does load (which is barely), and i try to switch songs, it just plays the same song at where I left off from...any help?
 
I only have like 2.7k but it's only been like 4 months since i've had my computer back so whatevs.

i posted another link to a download for an older version on the previous page. that one will let you donwload.
 
I know im gunna sound like a noob, but how do i download songs from a friend, like ive added her and can see all her music, but how do i get it onto my computer?
 
any suggestions on music? im looking through but dont know what to get

when you post your username thing, you should also post your favorites in your library.
