download macintosh

Only half the movies from the video section work on my macintosh, when I open some movies the screen fills up with weird signs and letters. What must I do to watch the movies, do I have to download something...

Get MPlayer or VLC, some videos still might not work if their coded in WMV3, but those players do most the stuff.

Just download some codecs for it. Just find the format thats not working for you and type in '.wmv codec + windows media player.' It worked for me.

my friends got a mac and what i had to do was save them, open apple windows media player and open them through that. I dont know enough about macs but im sure you can tell your computer to have windows media player automatically open the .wmv files.

dude, what you do is this. go to divx.com i guarantee despite they may say avi, that they're divx files. if there is a trailer it prolly has audio. when you get the divx files for mac you can play them on a mac. if you get no audio b/c it's like a trailer or someone's promo video it installs a divx validator program...run that and it'll give you audio...i did it w/my machine and it works fine playing throug hquicktime (including the solid powder video)
