well mytunes redux doesnt seem to work. with this, they only need itunes and to be sharing music with itunes. also, it seems easier to browse by user with this.

I think myTunes is for you PC people, while ourTunes works on Macs

ok. in itunes, if yoru in a network where other people have itunes such as a college dorm, you can listen to BUT NOT DOWNLOAD other peoples songs. this program lets you download...

nooo def. not...im pretty sure no bandwidth is used WHATSOEVER because your on the same network and only transfering songs from one computer to another, so basically it shouldnt be related

well some is. your on a say, 100mbps network. internet is maybe 4 mbps, and most likley these songs wont be transfered more the 10mbps. so you may run into somethings slowing down but you probably wouldnt even notice it.

if your internet is going in and out while using mytunes or ourtunes first MAKE SURE that its not going in and out while also not using those programs. I highly doubt they would do that...

How do I set up my music so that I can share it with others? Like if my itunes is open does it auto share everything? Plus some people had passwords and stuff.. HOW?
 
I'm an idiot.. just figured it out. I just got a laptop this year for school (I am in my second) and this itunes sharing thing is THA shit.
 
nah, your friends don't have to have it, they just have to have itunes. they don't even necessarily know you are downloading their stuff.
 
I downloaded it but I can't connect to any other computers. When I click hosts, it just says failed next to all the names. I have a mac by the way.
 
the only thing now os that the government has the right to be on college data bases so that means they can no bust ppl for that stuff
