Here's the deal:

The Down with Summer Rail Jam will start at 1pm on Saturday, September 9th at the Alpine Shop, 1184 Williston Road, South Burlington, VT. Come early for good parking and a prime spot in the line. Sugarbush is bringing the rail set-up (you'll be dropping in off the top of a pickup truck!).

The rails will be open to everyone from 1pm to 3pm. Nordica's Stefan Thomas (winner of last year's Vermont Open), the Meathead films guys and folks from Burton will be watching, and will select 15 skiers and 15 riders from the open crowd to compete for prizes from 3pm to 4pm. Top prizes will be a pair of skis or a snowboard and, of course, bragging rights.

Smith Sport Optics will be there (no limo, sorry) throwing gear into the crowd, Burton will be tossing gear into the crowd, as will Nordica. Whether you ride the rails or not, you will want to be there for the schwag tossing, it's mayhem!!

Stefan Thomas will be signing posters and throwing it down on the rails (don't worry, he isn't competing) for the crowd.

This will be huge, so show up early and CARPOOL for the best parking.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!!!
 
Sounds sick execept for the part about dropping in on the back of a truck because if its anything like last year then that would mean its gonna be even harder to get hits this year.
 
damn, i dont have my skis with me up here yet, at least therell be the possibility of free goodies, thatll probably get me to attend.
 
ahhhhhhhhh if i had one wish from santa it would to get with michelle parker the second would to go to that jam

totally gunna be there. hopefully. i need gas money. so basically if anyone needs a ride around MA/southern NH.. i can give you one.. if you pay me gas money. haha.
