Douchey Ski Racers.

Today I happened to be insulted by a douche ass ski racer. Not saying they're all douchey. here's the story one of my friend's friend happened to ski with me a bit today. he had just got done with a race, me being a carefree and usually humblish skier i am, just decide to have fun. Look like a gaper do 3's and crashing what i perceive as fun, well this kid has the audacity to tell me not only that me having fun, crashing and what not, was stupid, and not fun at all, but really gay. this got me really bummed and i just kinda hung my head then skied with some other friends after that. then i hung out with another friend later today. he was txtin this kid while we were playin cod, but my bud tells me that this kid was telling him how much i sucked. thats where i got the most concerned. i know people have different perceptions of fun but no need to be a douche about it. i am not a good skier at all, but i get down the runs ok. i don't need some kid skiing with me who has been ski racing for 12 years to state that i suck. it sucks already knowing you suck, and it sucks more when people decide to point it out....has anyone else been the victim of getting bitched at for no reason?

if you know you suck and it pisses you off....get the fuck out of the park and learn how to actually ski.

sounds like you dont know how to ski. I raced for a year. Then i said this shits gay and started learning park. Needless to say It tought me how to do REAL SKIING on REAL MOUNTAINS.
 
What the fuck did I just read? If I'm understanding this right, you should quit being a bitch. It's one thing to goof off and fuck around on groomers, and being called out for it, but it's another thing to admit to sucking at actually skiing. Fucking park rats. I love the park just as much as the next guy, and I spend probably 80% of my time in there. But that doesn't mean I didn't take the time to actually learn to ski when I first started, and that I don't enjoy ripping down groomers and working on my technique...
 
So you skiied with a friend of a friend who is a ski racer and he got done skiing and one of his racer friends said you suck and then you went and skiied with some friends of your friend and then you played some cod with a friend and one of your friends texted you about your friends ski racer friend saying you suck? That shit cray
 
Slay that muthafuck verbally. You took that like a punk bitch. Even if some little 6 year old kid talks shit to me when hes on the lift i still yell "Aye fuck u lil nigga umma whoop dat ass!" Or if its some old muthafucka with his family that aint gonna stop me, im still gonna wild out in front his family and make him look like a fool and cry! Thug Fo Life!
 
because most racers hate stupid park rats that can't actually make a decent turn down a run and can only hit rails yet they call them selfs skiers

well its sure as hell not a clean one.i can do a bunch of aerial stuff, but all my friends are better then me and im not that good on groomers

I raced for like 3 years and I quit racing when I moved to where im currently at because all the racers were huge bullys and douchebags. I was 11 and they were 17
 
being a racer doesnt mean they are more likely to be an asshole. if they are being an asshole its because theyre an asshole, not because they race. if that kid had followed a different path through life and ended up as a freestyler, hed probably be the one telling other racers they look gay in their speed suits. what im saying is you shouldnt all start griping about how bad racers are, and if you need someone to hate, just hate people who are dicks. theyre everywhere.

but yeah i fully agree. while i have respect for racers, the majority of them are MAJOR d-bags. i do think kids should learn to ski before going near a park though. nothing pains me more than little 12 year olds who don't understand that i'm a good skier despite the fact i can't do double fronts and such like, but that's another discussion

If you would have posted this tomorrow, maybe you would have gotten supportive and positive answers, but today, it's Analschoolers.
 
Personally I dot see how anyone can suck at skiing/snowboarding, with the exception that you fall like 50 times a day and its like your second year doing it. These are really the only kinds of sports that every person has there own individual style of riding and if your doing it for fun it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. I don't know why but it pisses me off when people say that other people suck at skiing because I don't think it matter how good/bad you are it's just about having fun and expressing your style. /rant
 
When I'm on the hill I'm a ELE kinda guy (everybody love everybody) because you are all out there doing the same exact thing, just different ways of doing it.

 
if your not a good skier chances are you won't develop any solid park skills to a point where you will have good enough style. Having fun is one thing but style only comes from being good.
 
yo, i kinda suck too. like, i can do rails and spins, but still learning switch ups and flips and stuff. bitches like that racer can suck a fat one. you're just out there skiing and loving life. be the bigger man and don't let it get to you. i'll be one of those guys that doesn't rip on you for this post cuz it's a quality post. LOVE!
 
I can't stand people who brag about their park skills, but can not actually ski.

and yes, if you actually know how to ski, you'll be a better park skier.
 
What happened to freeskiing? Ski how you want, with the style you want, with the technique you want. People bitching about "actual skiing" are hypocrites.
 
I don't get racing:

- Sliding on the ice round poles wearing spandex

i dunno just sounds kinda gay when you put it like that
