Naw dude, check the begining of that video again, mad claim to style after the harsh landings. I think these guys are the true inventors of afterbang.
 
Man if it wasnt for guys like this, freestlye skiing would have never been the same! This was progression, believe it or not.
 
no way props to those guys, imagine doing that shit on the flat, skinny planks they called skis. nothing like todays trick-sticks with the highly researched backwards landing capability.
 
Oh word, yeah, Maybe that was just the bails section of an old school ariels vid or something because it seems like someone would land something.
 
ahahahah i loved the claim after huge bail! I gotta start afterbanging after a fall!! Just like get up, clip your skis back on then afterbang the rest of the way down.
 
If you look really closely, you can see they are afterbanging through the whole rotation, and the wavy arms are just a better way to claim.
