Double Orbital?

I was watching dew tour and LVV Sammy Carlson was trying a belly down double flatspin or "double orbital". Is that a new name for a trick or is that an entirely trick?
 
No, the key here is belly down. Which is redic.

If he was still back down he could have a really flat, flat spin but try to imagine this rotation in your head
 
Maybe his second rotation yes, but that maybe jsut because of his tweaked grab.

I don't see how it can be done true without taking off switch. You need the jump to be pointing your stomach down as much as you can, or the halfpipe in Sammy's case
 
Yeah it brpught his legs and lower torso in a different position. Aren't all these tricks based on where your skis are? If you are doing lincoln and pull truck it's going to look like a flatspin.

I was just providing my input, I don't think it's the announcers using weird language, I think it is a totally different rotation and it's rad as fuck.

This, so much.

Seems like the later dew tour stops last year produced much better runs in terms of style than this weekend. I guess it makes sense that they aren't as smooth early in the season
