could this be possible in the pipe... it was done in the x-games by skaters and since skiers get on average 10 ft high, could it be done?

 
I dont think it would look extremely good but it definatly could be done. It would be hard to rotate it that fast on skis though

no its way more of a backflip in the pipe, but u turn so u r flat on the pip, so if ur hitting the right wlal u drop ur left shoulder kinda and get flat

no,off a jump u kinda get ur back flat at 270 i dont really no wat it looks like off a jump, but u spin 270 then ur back is parallel to the ground, then u just come around i think

i think its more deadly for skiing because of the going downhill in pipe and traveling way farther down the 'ramp'. in skating they travel like 5 feet across max.

 
the best way to think of a flat spin is your axis is through your belly button to your lower back and you spin horrizontal to the ground, does that make any sence??? technically if you do a lincoln loop in pipe and land switch it is a flat 3, ive done them a couple of times, not hard at all

 
if youre going to do a double, why not try a triple or even a quadruple and then quit freeskiing and start doing aerials.

i always thought a flatspin was when you lie down on your side and do a backflip. (but in the air) out of a pipe or steep jump. or anything for that matter. if that made any sense.

^^technically in pipe its not, its just for some reason considered a lincoln loop in pipe instead of a flat spin 3

hmmm wonder if it could be done on a spine???

great now im gunna spend the next twenty minutes playing with a huck doll trying to see if its possible, im betting that the flat three will replace the cork three if its possible

it really wasn't a dub flat.....prety much they just did dub back late 180.....OR just started to lean/spin on the first flip and did dub loop to late 90....thats how i saw it and i HOPE our sport does not ever get to that point. Lame.
