Double Backs on Trampolines

I'm really comfortable with backflips. Can do em on flat ground and everything. Who can do em, and are they hard to stay commited etc?

just huck a backflip, stay tucked in a ball for two rotations, and commit.

make sure you get a lot of air before you throw it.

i used to be able to do a double front and land on my ass. for double backs all you gotta make sure you do is make it at least 1 and a 3/4 times around. anything more and you should be able to not hurt yourself. then bring it around to a full 2 times

my brother used to be able to do double fronts but then he fell off and broke his ankle so he couldnt really commit to it anymore. just get a lot lot lot of air and commit or you are going to land on your head.

i can pretty much do em, practice throwing 1 and then open up to land on your back, and once thats easy just get a bigger bounce and stay tucked, you gotta commit though

yeah get one of those super trampolines, or the ones with straps, theyll train you, but like me you probly dont have a couple grand to shell out

just commit to it, if u land on ur head u wont break ur neck i promise, u just have to try them and ull find out how easy they are

i can do double fronts, not backs...but for the fronts get a double bounce and just huck it if you can do one on the ground you can do a double on the tramp.

my buddy does double backs without the double bounce, he just tucks sooo good i cant stay tucked on the double back long enough...i always get like 1 3/4 and land on my face so i just quit haha

commit son youll get it

ive attempted double fronts and either land on my face when i don't commit or my neck..so im just sticking to a single front flip for now

my friend can do them on a normal tramp, but he tumbles, soo i guess that helps a lot, but yeah the basic idea of how he says to do them is just stay in the tuck, most people want to come out early

Yep, tuck and commit and get a spike for more air, my buddy Drew used to toss them when I spiked him, but trying them without it beforehand he always underrotated.

try it off a diving board. itll help you time your hangtime and whatever. my friend trained himself to backflip off the ground and i really want to learn. i just need some time to practice

well the body mechanics of a back flip should make them easier but people are too afraid to do them so everyone thinks front flips are easier.

Question for anyone who has at least come close at both double fronts and double backs. I'm much more comfortable w/ backflips than frontflips, so which one first? double front or double back?

ALso for those of you who can spin back 540's, I can spin back 3's ez but how do you get the extra rotation for the 5? All I an think of is a better tramp (more air/room).

cant throw the dubs although ive never tried...but id say try the dub backflip just b/c your more comfortable with them.

now for the backflip 5's you just want to focus on more spin than flip and you should be able to do it. if not...probably just need a double bounce or something.

ya i tried didnt really commit and then didnt try it again... but i can do back on the floor no prob... and i used to be able to do double fronts on a gymnastics floor and usually land them
