Double backflip tramp?

hi, ive alredy posted this in The tramp cult, but theres zero activity there, so decides to post it here too :)

i have been doing backflips for a long time Now, and have Said to myself since june i wanted to do a double, but i still can't commit doing it. I Am afraid of landing on my neck, even though i Can do standing backflip in The gym, and do really good laid Out backflips on tramp, so no problems there...

I fear to open up mid air by instinct, and dont know how to 'Solve that'...

Hope you Can help me with some tips to get it down... :)

grab your ankles and hold it, also perhaps try getting them down on a divingboard first ?

 
try doing it into a foam pit first. that should take away some of the scariness of landing on your neck. If you don't have access to a foam pit, it's not too big of a deal, you just need to COMMIT 110%. Practice by doing a backflip and instead of landing back on your feet, rotate a little bit more to your back. Do a bunch of those until they become a piece of cake and you don't even think about it. Once you are good with those, it's time to do the dub. Jump pretty high and set the flip really hard, get all your momentum into it. Keep your head looking back and stay tucked up tight. One thing that helps me is to count the flips as they happen so I know where I am because I honestly don't know if I close my eyes or it just happens so fast, but I don't really see where I am or I don't remember? So as you do the first flip say in your head 1, then as the second comes around say 2. It'll be instinct when to open up if you commit to the two flips and count it out. But really, confidence and commitment are the biggest factors in pulling it off besides just hucking it hard. Good luck and post up a video of you stomping it man!
 
the problem is for me by doing backflips to my back, i seem to slam my neck, even though i try to tighten the muscles in my whole neck..
 
nah, im just landing on my back as i would in a normal backdrop, but im rotation a lot faster so i seem to slam my head everytime.
 
I always did backflips to my back before i tried to dub. You just got to find a better way to land on your back. It never really hurt me, but it did hurt some of my friends that also did it. Once you get that down just huck it pretty much as hard as you can and stay tucked and you'll get close. as long as you get over your head your fine. if you over rotate youll just land on your back. good luck.
 
well ive lost all my intrests with doubles.. my trampoline isnt verry good, and first double frontflip i tried killed my tongue. my first double backflip was straigth to neck. all my double sideflips if i try really hard, i get them on neck.on my friend's trampoline i could get it soooo easily, but somehow i just dont want to hurt myself anymore.anyways, im kind of stupid. i wont try anything ''seriously'' i just take something crazy ''as joke, or as play''i guess my first dub front will be from one of my crazy ideas too, but i hope it will go a lil better :)
 
just tuck and spin. and this is how i tuck:

pull your up to your chest and spread them out wide almost like your squatting. grab the middle of your shins with your hands and lean your head down into the area created by opening your legs, almost as if you were trying to give yourself a bj. sounds weird, but works like hell.

i was trying a dub back a few weeks after i got my tramp this summer and finally almost broke my neck and couldnt walk properly for a few weeks

so good luck bro I think everyone can do it just get your balls together and do it!

but just do it dont think too much that was my fault.

go out dont think about getting hurt or anything else just chill and do it.

This tutorial is probably gay but sums it up imo
