Dose p tex stick to super gule

I've tryed for the last few hours to get ptex to stick in to my ski base. I was repairing my edge that broke and I filed it back in with some super gule and now trying to get p tex to stick and fill in the gouge but no luck. I've sanded the gule and scratched it up with a razor blade. Have you had any luck getting p tex to stick to super gule

You're technically not supposed to Use P-TEX on or near edges, theres another agent (I think its called Edge grip or something along those lines) which will prevent the edge from ripping out. also filling in bases sometimes takes a Mix of epoxy and P-TEX to let it grip onto the core

No gule?

ptex doesnt want to stick to core material. use some epoxy, sand some and then use metal grip. and then ptex on top of it all.

with no glue melt ptex into base defect.

let ptex cool.

scrape ptex down flush with base with metal scraper.

use razor blade to pop ptex out of base defect. now you have perfect mold of base defect.

apply thin layer of epoxy (the kind you mix together from two separate tubes) to inner surface of base defect.

immediately pop your ptex mold back into place.

sandwich your ski between two pieces of wood, one on the base over the repair and one on the other side over the top sheet.

apply a c-clamp and tighten down as tight as you can.

leave this way for 24 hours.

boom. your base is fixed.
