Dopest park ski?

whats the point in this thread? are you asking us to recommend you a park ski, or are you just bored?

if the former is true, read the sticky. if the latter, ..........
 
Atomic ARCs 250cm IMO... but thats just my preference. It does a good job drawing attention tho. Its especially effective with a neon blue 1-piece...

Or you could read the stickied threads and reviews and get real answers instead of BS ones.

No such thing. Invaders may be best for a 100 lb 5th grader, but it just won't do the job for a 250 lb football player.
 
depends on what you do more: rails, jump, pipe?? the Walls are supposed to be sick, but then again every volkl is sick
 
Yeah. just exaggerating to try and get the point across. :P

A 250 lb skier would cause an avalanche even on hard pack.

fujis are pretty good for everything park wise untill you start hittin really big stuff and then theyr pretty sketch
 
Guess that rules me out for skiing ... back to tiddly winks? I'm in great shape, but honestly hitting the park as a 250 pound 6'8er is a bitch. Freeskiing is much more pleasurable. But my Movement 183 Gladiators still handle the park very well.

 
That depends on what you're basing it on. Salomon 1080s have done more for the progression of freeskiing than any other ski, by far. They're still a solid ski. There are plenty of other skis/brands that perform well in the park. The way technology has progressed, it's hard to go wrong now.
 
You're going to get alot of bias comments. Alot of people are going to mention the skis they own, however, im going to say thrusters for my preference. I demoed them last year, and they were amazing. So light, agile, quick and responsive.
 
Line Invader/Anthem, Moment Reno, Surface Watch Life, Volkl Wall, Fischer Addicts or whatever ski replaces them this year, and the Head J.O. Pros have all gotten really good reviews.

But you might want to check out the flex and what you like, the length of each, and what kind of width you like. Like someone said earlier, it's like asking what your favorite fruit is, it's all opinion.

 
id say volkl wall cause i just bought them, but wait until i get to ride before i give you a good answer
 
So true. Buy that. Then get yourself some sick rear-entry boots, a pair of insulted blue jeans, a nice retro sweater, and maybe one of those novelty hats that's like a moose head or something. Oh, and no goggles. You'll definitely be the "dopest" guy in the park! All others will bow down before you!
