Anyone ever do it before? I just downloaded the Dasher app to make some extra $$ this summer, is it worth the miles you put on the car/ gas cost to do deliveries?
 
Nope but last week my door dash driver didn’t deliver my food and cussed me out on the phone after I told him he didn’t deliver it. Seems like he just dumped it at a random house and told us “sucks to suck” don’t be that guy
 
People dont tip. Dont you make like, 3.50$ for delivery? Just sounds like a bad idea. Selling weed will make you more money.
 
been doing it casually for about a year now, you'll make money but definitely not something you can support yourself with. i can make close to $20/hour for about 3 hours during the dinner rush on weekends, weekdays are usually dead

Does it usually pick up in the summer?
 
Seems like a horrible way to make money, you wont probably make shit doing this because they are rigging the damn app to maximize corporate profits instead of benefit the average person trying to make a few extra dollars by working more efficiently
 
Depends where you live, during the lockdown i know people were getting massive tips. Who knows now that things are reopening. Kinda wish i did it tbh

stays the same year round for me but i'm sure it's different in other markets. the only thing that seems to affect demand is rain, if it's raining then you'll be raking it in because nobody wants to leave their house
