Doom

I'm thinking baout seeing it, but it dosen't look as good as the game. Cause the graphics in that game were intense, and i just hope the movie dosen't ruin it.
 
By dark I meant physically dark. If I have to sit through 2 hours of the Rock waving a flashlight around the inpenetrable blackness, well I might just kill someone.
 
doom was pretty decent for a game based movie. and i can't wait for halo since peter jackson is on the project. does it come out late 06 or 07?
 
I dont know but i bet its gonna be a kick ass movie... But yah Domm was pretty sweet, I liked it. even though the rock was in it, there was a bit of a twist at then end too, but you kind were hinted throught the movie... i reccoment anyone that played the games to see it.
 
Holy fuck, that could be an amazing movie. I don't know how they are going to give the Master Chief a personnality though, they'll probably change everthing about the characters (which is good, because Halo is awesome but not very deep emotionnaly).

There'll probably have to be a sidekick or something. Just Master Chief running around for two hours killing aliens (however cool it may sound) would get boring.
 
if they threw a couple of twists into the fighting it could get very cool, like if the there was comedy, action and romance, it would be the shiznet... well i know there is going to be action, if there isnt any action theres no point in even puting a cent into it.
 
Hahaha I wish they make Halo based on Halo 1, and it'll be a first person view fotr the whole movie, which will be like...7 hours long. And every room in a complex looks EXACTLY the same like in the game and the hero just runs around, saying nothing, in those dull enviroments!

That would be wicked awesome LOL!!
 
then on the dvd there would be bonus features, where they change the main characters voice to a high pitched 12 yearold, running people over in the warthog and calling them noobzorz !!!111!!!1!!1!!

not when the rock, alien-type creatures and chainsaw's are involved. this could be just as manly as dawn of the dead.
 
I saw that movie, I thought it was pretty good. They needed way more guns though. I wanted to see some plasma rifle. And it needed more monsters and it needed HELL with LOTS OF Monsters. But its ok, I still liked the movie.
 
the rock shouldnt be in it. the rock is gay. doom is STRICTLY an old school 1st person shooter. i actually sorta dont like that they made a movie out of it
 
If you recall they just recently made a Doom3 game(and an Expansion pack that was just recently released) so its not old school any more, well it was first created as old school, but it isnt stricly old school now. I am glad that thier stoping with Doom 3 tho.
 
Their stopping with Doom 3 because the graphics in it are off the hook. They are so highly rendered that no video card right now can support the full quality... and with the highest card it's sick. even in a few years it'll still have the highest quality graphics.

That's according to my brother anyway... could be wrong.
 
Does it really matter? I mean the guy will be in a full suit the whole movie and you never see his face. They could put in Clay Aiken in as Master Cheif and just have Morgan Freeman do a voice-over.
