Plus we had gotten over 2 feet of snow earlier this past week. Snow is soooooooooooooooooooooooo deep right now.

I wish that was the forecast here. All we got here is a wind chill advisory and a -8 high for tomorrow. One of the local hills might actually close tomorrow because its so cold.

nice! It's snowing at my mountain, too. Really nice because we haven't had freshies in weeks.

hhah right, kissing bridge is definatley a hill. sucks now that im in college we get all this snow back home....oh wait i go to school in vermont, haha.

Holiday Valley's got next to nothing.

Snow's are more north than Holiday Valley.

Oh, an update. There will be close to 3 feet of new snow by tomorrow morning. Another 9-13 inches is supposed to fall overnite. Then up to 5 inches tomorrow during the day and a few more inches Monday night.

thats not very cold.. i went skiing at -27.. and thats without the windchill included... sounds pretty nice there, I'de defenatly call in sick for work or skip school for that powder.

we had quite a few forecasts in november, december, and into the beginning of january that would say things like:

"significant accumulations expected"

or

"Winter storm warning. 2 to 3 feet expected. 6 feet storm total"

and im sure there was a bunch more. And got like 23ft thus far.

But now it is just rain for the indefinite future.

Haha, that's so true.

You can get up enough speed to make a few turns and then you're going too slow.

And the steep sections are like 50-100 feet long only. So too short to really truly enjoy.

Lots of snow was good though!

if we got that 3 feet in the bristol area it would be epic. the hill across from bristol along with the jumpoff at ontario county park are so steep. alot of trees wont grow on it so itd be perfect. fuck i hate how bristol gets no lake effect

There's some hike-able hills in this area that could def. be steep enough. Just gotta find them and get off my lazy ass to hike.

word, that shit is mad steep. there are some good stashes at bristol too if you know where to look.

its so gay how the places that get the most lake effect in NY, mainly south of buffalo and tug hill plateau don't have shit for ski areas.

finaly you east coasters shutted the fuck up.. THANK YOU... and hood is gettin snow wed.. cannot wait.. been in abit of a drought for 2 weeks

That looks like what Utah normally is. This year it's been bluebird days for like 30 days straight.... no snow. lame.

good for you.. actually, Va. aint gettin no snow... jeez. only like.. 15 min. of wet flurry that dont even do anything, except melt when they hit the ground..

fuck you it might rain if its not cold enough here highs in the 40s lows in like 30 maybe lower in reeno so thats basicaly tahoes forecast its bullshit i just hope mountains get rained on

Lol, today succccked.

Sooo many travel bans. All that new snow, and 30-40 MPH winds.

Whiteouts EVERYWHERE. So many cars off the rode.

Basically all of Southern Erie County south of Buffalo, NY has been shutdown. It's like a jibsaw puzzle trying to find my way home from work.
