It may not have been entirely his fault, but any time your own government is blatantly stealing millions of dollars from taxpayers money there is a big problem. Please do yourself a favour and do not put the Liberals in power again.

To be honest, Martin is such a conservative guy that he hardly deserves to be called a liberal in the modern sense. I just think having one power in majority control for over a decade is bound to cause trouble.

Refuse your ballot if you feel there is no one to vote for.

Most Canadians don't know (hell I didn't know until this year) that you can actually refuse your ballot. After they've asked you for your name/registration, and they hand you your ballot say; 'I don't want it.' They might look at you funny because it doesn't happen too often, but they have to send it off to be counted as a 'returned ballot.'

Instead of spoilling your ballot this year (they don't count spoilled ballot, they simply cast it aside in a pile) reject it.

Hope someone out there didn't know this, or I'm going to look like a complete fool, for only finding it out this year!

Last time I checked out the green party, they had a pretty right wing agenda tempered by strong environmental policies. But social, they were a nightmare. This might have changed a little more recently though, so I'll give them another look.

Im sorry, but if at this point you honestly think that the Liberals have the ability to run this country then you must have missed the reason you posted in the first place. I have never been a fan of the Liberals and Jean, but this pushes it over the edge. No I do not know if Paul Martin deserves any blame here, but if you think about this just a little bit, it is quite likely that he knew somewhat of what was going on. Politicians are politicians for a reason. Generally, they know how to talk, and of course he would say something like if I find I am involved I will remove myself. This would make sense to say whether it is true or not.

Cretien should go to jail. There is no reason he shouldn't. He pretty much should have been sent there before this scandal even emerged, it only solidifies it.

If you truly believe in what those minority parties stand for then you should definetly vote for them as they would represent you best. If, however, you do it because you think its a big joke then you have just mimicked the way this country has been run the last 11 yrs.

Being bitter with the government for what is quickly becoming a scandal much worse than anything Clinton ever did is great. I don't know anyone who is willing to just let this blow by, and that's a good thing. But tell me this: What current political party can legitimately claim to be able to run this country with even 1/2 the level of success as the Liberals have had over the past 10 years? I'm certainly not going to claim that I'm a Liberal lover, though I'm partially responsible for getting them to office, but I'd like to hear an opinion as to what other political party can run this country. Anyone?

Each party has something that I like but lots I hate. I suppose the Green party is the closest representation of my beliefs, although I agree, a lot overlooked due to their radical environmental policies (which I'm not saying are a negative thing).
