You guys sound like you know nothing about how ski shops work here. The first complaint about ski company is semi-legit, however, if you were to lease a car and total it would you expect a good trade in value??? of course not. The ski company intends that deal to be for recreational skiers who ride a couple times a year and don't destroy their bases and edges. Obviously they aren't going to give you anymore than they will be able to sell the ski for. The second person complaining about Dewitt Sports sounds ridiculous. Now of course I don't have all the details, but when a new ski goes into a shop to be mounted it is mounted acording to K2. The skis come with a line that is to be centered with the boot and the binding. The only ski I know of that ever came with a center mounting point is the 1260. If your friend wanted a center mount he should have said something and I am sure the technicians would have done it. Again, I don't know how this shop is run but I am pretty sure they know how to mount skis. If they were mounted 5 inches past the mark then there could be a lawsuit since this is highly illegal and dangerous. As far as your wide brake goes that has nothing to do with the shop. It is purely the supplier, you should be ranting about marker, salomon, or dynastar here. I have worked at both Muxworthy's and Snow country over the past two years and I am currently working at a shop in Burlington, VT. I mount skis all day and deal with customers like yourselves. Next time you guys make such ridiculous complaints on a message board you should think about how your actions relate to the equation of your problem. In most cases it is 100% your fault. Sorry to break it to ya,
Rob
