Probably the worst place to order stuff from, worst service, no one responds or even answers the phone, they take forever to do anything
 
I've always heard two responses to them: They were great, or they were terrible. Not worth the risk in my opinion.
 
If you search you will find a number of threads just like this. Getboards is a joke. Sometimes there will be issues, but to have them so consistantly is ridiculous . They even have a F rating by the BBB.

 
yeah i ordered a t-shirt and the massive from them...didnt get the massive until i called 3 times (with no answer), and eventually e-mailed them twice and they sent it 2 weeks later, they suck...period the end, i know some people that have had good service with them and others....most, said it sucked...so no thanks, i wont be giving them my business
 
I got Seth Vicious from them for $200. They responded to all my emails within hours also.

Definitely not a reliable place, but not everyone has bad experiences with them.
 
But why take the chance? I could go to backcountry or evo, and I KNOW I'll get the service I deserve, every time, rather than wondering whether I'll get hooked up or if I use a coupon code whether they'll charge me more and send my order to Zimbabwe.
 
if you aren't satisfied with getboards go with evo or backcountry.

and if you have never tried www.untracked.com, please take the time. decent prices. HUGE selection, and the service is unbeatable.
 
i think its the price of the item that seems to be the deciding factor, they ship larger more expensive items like jackets and skis quickly, however they ship small stuff like dvd's and hats at snail pace. this is what i have heard, and seems to be the trend in my personal shopping experience as well.
 
I have bought from GB many times over the last 8 years, and I have never had any issues. In my mind, I know I am protected against getting screwed by my CC company, so if they dont ship, I file a claim and get my money back. Usually worht it cuase they have some crazy good deals, especially if you get the right guy on the right day.
 
Ive never had a problem with them, every time Ive ordered something (3-4 times) Ive gotten it on time. plus didnt they get a new owner?
 
I bought 1260s a 4 or so years ago (ones in my avatar) and they got them to me real fast for a good price, never got the free t shirt or stickers though.
 
i ordered a pair of invaders from them a few years ago and waited for like two weeks. when i finally received a package i opened it up and pulled out a pair of 159 public enemies. i called them and told them that they sent me the wrong ski so they said they would send out the invaders. i recieved another package the next day and it was my original order and than like a week later i got an extra pair for free. i was super pumped!
 
Your taking a chance by using getboards. I ordered some ski movies and armada dapper tech and it came on time but then another time i ordered 4 things and it took a whole month for 3 of the things to come and then I emailed them only to find out the last item wasn't in stock. But hey you might get lucky and get some free skis. I don't see why you would use getboards when you could use evo or backcountry.com.
 
fuck getboards i got sponsored by them then they didnt even end up having a team that year. they are super unreliable
 
Getboards is like unprotected sex. It might be the coolest thing ever, or it might leave you hurting with pimply red boils over everything you consider dear and sacred.
 
bought ninthward tha 187 for a 259 and received them within two weeks to canada,,, but i have heard of othr not so favourable experiences
 
its funny when i saw this post i remembered that i ordered a pair of pipe cleaners and i looked outside and they were right at my door! I ordered them like 5 days ago, so IDK getboards is cool in my opinion.
 
I've had some very mixed experiences with them. My first time was ordering a pair of Line Chronics and they arrived in about 4 days so I was pretty impressed. However, the next time I ordered a couple t shirts and they never arrived even after I shot them numerous emails. I finally gave up after about 3 months and haven't ordered anything from them since
 
unless backcountry.com doesn't what you want, and they most likely will, I don't know why anyone would order from any other website. Backcountry has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if you break your skis or don't like them or hell maybe you used them for 3 years and loved them and they are still not broken you could still return them for exactly what you paid. I think REI is the only other company that has a deal like that. Free shipping over 50 bucks and great costumer service. Why would you order from any other store? even if it is more expensive you can always get your money back and that is worth the little extra cash IMO.
 
haha thats funny. i asked for a couple shirts and a hoody from there too for xmas from my parents. hopefully everything went okay
 
i ordered a jacket, pants, and skis from them and recieved em in a timely manner, no problems at all, and i called em once and they picked up the phone and looked up my order for me, very helpful, and i read on another thread that you can email the new guy tony and he will give you special deals and discounts, just use the searchbar to find the threadand i got a free dvd with one of my orders
 
That makes me never wanna deal w/ them. It's always a good decision to stay off the BBB's naughty list. Hmm, looks like they get no business from me this year - or ever.
 
weird i remember reading a thread just like this like less then a month ago haha.

I kind of have mixed issues with them. When I first ordered I had a discount code which I used and they said they'd email a reciept with the correct amount charged which they never did. I got my items in a timely manner but I wanted to exchange them. I called them it took a few tries for them to answer. When they did answer I asked someone about the price I was charged and how I never got the email. He sounded super rude and wasn't that helpful. Then he gave me the wrong address to ship the items to exchange them. I guess they have different addresses for USPS and Fedex/UPS. So I got my items sent back to me and now since it took time for the items to get back to my house I sent them out the same day and now they are out of stock of the items I wanted for in exchange. Getboards needs to get their shit together.
 
I bought a sweatshirt from them once, i didnt end up getting it until 3 months later because it was first "out of stock", then there was a "shipping error"
 
you guys gotta take action... i've never used em, but i have had a bad situation, but i made the best out of it and got a sick deal.

Listen, call non stop till you get someone, say wtf, i ordered these how ever long ago, and i want my stuff, and i want you to refund my shipping and maybe give me 15% off or something

I ordered Dynastar Trouble Maker limited from o2gear.com, got them with 20% off for 96 BUCKS!!! turns out, after a week, they were sold out... so im like, alright, lemme speak to a manager. I said i want skis, i dont want to pay much more than i did, and i want something good. So he goes and looks, grabs a pair of 08 fischer addicts and is like, alright, theres are much better skis, i will give them to you for 145, i will get them there in two days. im sorry.

Bam, nicer skis for a mad good deal... you gotta be assertive...
 
My mom was on that website ordering me a christmas present and then something poped up on the screen saying it wasnt safe to order from the wwebsite and that someone was trying to hack her credit card at that exact moment through the website
 
i ordered once from them and i got it a week after.

i didnt have a bad experience but some of my friends did.
 
I ordered a Jiberish hoodie from them a few weeks ago and it came on time. I ordered a hoodie the other day and they called me but they NEVER returned my messages until I was in the middle of a ski lesson. Hopefully I get my hoodie real soon.
 
I have got skis arrived three days after order. I got three beanies and two movies and they arrived four days after order. Ive never had any problems but I have read a lot of other peoples complaints over the years.
 
that's funny, my mom was n a website and somethingpopped up saying she won a million dollars, weird.
 
I ordered a pair of skis off of the site. any time I called they were quick to pick up, and they shipped the skis mad fast.

I do think though that its a 50-50 draw you gotta take with that website from all the bad hype I hear from them.
 
Ya i dont know about other peoples experiences but i got a pair of dumonts from them last year for 200 and a pair of silencers this year. didnt have any problems. skis got to me fast
