3 of my friends in the hospital, one of them should be fine hes in a neck brace and messed up face. The other two kids are on life support, punctured lungs bruised ribs and in coma. Not looking good.
Foreal kids its not worth it.

ive had 5 friends die in car wrecks...one was directly alcohol related, two of the other guys were pseudo alcohol related (driving 2 hours back home from school the morning after a night of major, major partying)

yah, it's not good...ive had a couple mornings where i should have died the night before, and i think of those guys and it's scary

i slept in the parking lot of my school the other day so i wouldnt have to drive drunk. yay im responsible

wear a f:::ing seatbelt

my friend is serving 8 years for vehicular manslaughter cause he was driving two chicks from somewhere (completely sober) and was speeding like a mug

ran a red light and got broadsided by a 8 wheeler

both girls killed on the spot

a friend of a friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver a few of months ago and it really affected my friend in a bad way for a long time. drunk driving is just stupid.

its really just not worth it. ive done it when i was underage and stupid and luckily nothing happened. but honestly just call a friend or even your parents for a ride.

yup my cousins friend was driving home because her boyfriend drank but he didn't know she did too so he gave her the keys she was driving down a hill about 70mph and through an intersection at the bottom of the hill and hit a brick wall the boy friend didn't have a seat belt on and flew through the wind shield hit the wall and died on impact

alcohol is bad shit when used irresponsibly

"oh hey I'm driving drunk, better drive 70!"

I tend to believe that it's not just the alcohol, that a lot of young people shouldn't be driving. in europe licenses are much more difficult to get. always pay attention when you drive, especially at high speed. cause a little lapse in concentration at 50+ mph and you could just die like that. american kids don't take it seriously enough, cause so many of them didn't pay for their car (me included) and get distracted too easily.

I saw a kid turn left across a lane of traffic without looking to see if it was clear at all. a truck hit him at 50 mph and both cars just got obliterated. fortunately all the passengers got out within 2 seconds and were fine, but the little fucker didn't even apologize to the men in the other car. he just flipped open his cell phone and started calling. maybe he was in shock, which I guess excuses it, but if the guys in the other car hadn't been wearing their seatbelts they'd be dead.

i swear if someone did that to me, the cops better get their real quick, cause I'd be fighting the urge to curb-stomp the motherfucker.

dude you were probably drunk

say you stopped drinking at 2 am, 3 hours later you're probably still drunk.

even if you ended at midnight, depending on how much you had to drink you could still be drunk.

moral of the thread and safe driving tips: (i'm taking drivers ed right now)

wear a seatbelt- if there're multiple people in a car and one person doesn't have a seatbelt that person is likely to kill the other people because you fly around during a crash. 1/3 of people are likely to get in a serious accident and wearing a seatbelt can reduce the risk of death by a shit load
don't drive drunk- if you do, you're just a dumb fuck, look at the amount of death's caused by drunk drivers, is it really worth it?
stop at red lights- i mean c'mon, really? what do you think happens when you fly through a crowded intersection? why so serious your friend is a dumbass

i can go on about safe driving tips..........

++++vibes to the crash victims, i hope they make a full recovery and learn a pretty damn valuable lesson

I'm going to take it in the ass for this, but...

I've never driven completely fucked out of my mind where I'm oblivious to my surroundings and have difficulty speaking/walking, but when I'm in the country, driving alone on country roads in the middle of the night, I find myself to be very capable of adequately and rather safely operating whatever vehicle I may be driving...snowmobile, Atv, Car, Truck...etc.

From what I've seen/heard, drunk driving accidents happen when someone who's had way too much to drink thinks that they can drive a car full of people, with the music blasting and the passengers jumping around. When some people do this, they for some reason think that they have something to prove at that exact moment...and also believe that they are invisible. They drive at excessive speeds, get distracted by their surroundings and get themselves into situations because of that.

I.E. some 19 year old punk kid is driving 90 MPH on the freeway, swerving through cars, blasting lady gaga while singing to the hot chick in the back seat, loses control and hits a pole. Driving at elevated speeds and attempting dangerous "stunts" is a risk for any driver, sober or drunk (but of course the odds are worse for someone who's had too much to drink). Although, because some people are immature and can't control that need for speed, they get themselves and others in trouble for it.

I hope nobody reads this the wrong way, thinking that I'm encouraging drunk driving. This is not my stand at all. I'm merely trying to state that driving with a "buzz" could be done "responsibly"...to an extent. By not taking passengers, not listening to music, not driving at excessive speeds, not talking on the phone....basically just focusing on the task at hand, it's almost as safe as driving next to the soccer mom in her Yukon with all those distractions.

Don't tell me you've never driven behind an SUV, that's been swerving on the interstate, cutting people off and driving fast/dangerously all because they were talking on the phone/fidgeting with the radio.

Anybody dig what I'm trying to say?

i went to the massive premiere and tanner got all intense about this story about his freind who died in an accident and he like almost started crying
