i have to write a Humorous essay on the topic of :DONT DO DRUGShow can you make it funny???? dont do meth or youll end up on the streets selling your body for 10 bucks?? how can this topic be humorous wtf??!!
 
whats the difference between a hooker and a drug dealer.
the hooker can wash her crack and sell it again! badum chhhh
 
before i was assigned this i had read this "my speech to the graduates"by woody fucking allan. and write a readers response that outlines methods of humor used, and had to comment on whether or not i thought it was funny, it wasnt funny woody allan is a cunt.and now i have to do this heres the question for it:
Woody Allan writes on a seemingly mundane topic in a very light and upbeat way. He is able to address issues and impart advice in a light and funny manor. Use similar techniques to write a speech on the following topic: Don't do Drugs. Your speech should be at least 500 words.
 
Write the essay from the perspective of a guy on LSD. Enter a world where the line between good and evil is clear and observe the behaviors of those in that world and the moral dilemmas they face. The kicker - is that drugs are considered "good" and yet the repercussions of being on drugs is very destructive. Thus, you learn that in the end, there can be no clear devision of "good" and "evil". Making the statement "Don't do drugs" a lie in itself.

or something along that nature. essentially, make the statement "don't do drugs" completely meaningless and powerless by doing drugs. there lies the humor.

I just read over what I wrote... you might not be able to fully understand what I'm trying to say... but if you can understand the overall point I'm trying to make...

Either that - or write about a caffeine junkie who loses everything they love in the world and have them go to rehab, or commit suicide or something.
 
i imagine it being a really unfortunately funny events of a guy on the pursuit of getting high. i dont know there are a lot of possibilities
 
500 words? Thats a fucking joke, come on dude. Theres so many things you could easily write about given such a short speech.

Perhaps instead of "drugs" as most people would think (coke, heroin, meth etc.), talk about caffiene or alcohol or something. Maybe go with the idea that someone else mentioned about how 100% of peopple who drink coffee will die or something like that.

Or, make your whole speech as if you were constantly tripping balls. Talk about things people would think/see on hallucinogens as if they were common occurences in everyones life.
