They are the worst quality pieces of shit I have ever seen. I got one pair this year and they sounded good. Within a month they had a connection issue and stopped working. Bought another pair a month ago and just now one ear stopped working. I also bought a pair of earbuds a few weeks ago and they broke first day I had them. SKULLCANDY GO FUCK YOURSELVES YOU COCKSUCKING MUTHERFUCKERS

They sound good but they fucking break so easily. I basically just use them when I go for runs and around the house when I want to listen to music without making it loud for everyone else. 3 pairs in 3 months worst quality I've ever seen in a product the fuckin apple ones that come with the ipod are 10times better for durability

Well If I've already broken 3 pairs I don't feel like wasting my time with warranties I'll just buy from a quality manufacturer. I had Sony headphones and they lasted me 3 years and sounded even better. Got the last pair of Skulls in a deal with some skis. Yes they sound pretty good a lot better then your standard issue headphones obviously.

When they broke I figured it was just cause they were already used and fairly old so I bought another pair they worked fine for a while but I don't have a helmet that can fit them so i bought some earbud ones. They broke the first day and I just haven't gotten around to filling out a forum and all the bullshit. Then just now out of nowhere the only pair I had left stopped working. Connection issue the same as all 3. Right where you plug it into the Ipod if i wiggled it around a bit it would work but barely.

I'm bitching on NS so other people don't waste there cash on such a shit product.
 
Wow, OP, with that expertly written and thought out argument you posted, you have completely changed my mind about Skullcandy. Excuse me, while I step outside and smash all my pairs in honor of your excellent article.

Well considering i was sitting in bed using them on my computer i don't see how that would break them. I had a sick pair of Sony s that were great even accidentally caught the cord in my vacuum once and They kept working. Lost them During a move unfortunately.

I just can't see how I've gone through 3 pairs in under 5 months one pair broke literally the first day I bought them.
 
I've been through at least 8 pairs of skullcandy earbuds. But both pairs of my Icons still work fine, after a whole season of skiing. And my Lowriders still work and I've had them for about 2 years. Earbuds suck, but the over ear ones are great.
 
Eh, my icons struggle with everyday use going to class. Pockets are not very friendly to that connection...

and OP don't tell me what to do YOLO and LYOL (live your own lyfe biatch)
 
You are so dumb. They offer a freaking life time warranty, if they break send them in and get new ones FOR FREE! Stop ranting.
 
decent, i just bought 6 pairs of 50/50s from a bulk seller for $100 (who will remain secret). I like them a lot so far.

Got headphones in my car, desk, gym locker, backpack, ski jacket, and bedside table haha.

I also got a pair of beat pros the other day for $160 (guy was super desperate to sell, i took advantage of it hahaha)

 
just mail them back and they send you a new pair. i like my earbuds, but yeah quality is shit. free warranty though so just do it
 
No but seriously skull candies always crap out. They do have a great warranty program but that's because they have to or else no one would continue buying their mediocre product. I just use I phone head phones and I could care less they sounds fine I can make calls with it change my songs like whatever.
 
Stop bitching and go do something about it. Skullcandy has THE BEST warranty i have ever seen, so take advantage of it. Fill out the form on your website and then send them back, they refund you for shipping too. Its a pain, but think of it as basically getting free headphones for life.
 
I counted all mine up, and I have gone through 15 pairs. Warranty program is great though, so I'm not complaining
 
Yeah my link pack quit working after like 3 months and since they didn't carry them anymore they tried to give me a pair of $25 headphones in return. But I E mailed customer service and told them my backpack was fucking $85 so they gave me $85 in store credit instead. Pretty solid. Def pretty common sense to not get Skullcandy if you want quality though.
 
Weird... I have had 2 pairs of Skullcandy earbuds. One was lost, and my Titans have lasted for 2 years. And my Icons have lasted for 4... And I throw em around, and dont really take much care of them. So everybody else must be fuckin up somehow. haha.
 
Well I am warrantying the pair that I still have. Still it takes 4-6 weeks which I would like to have music for going for runs and hiking and just because they have a great warranty doesn't change the fact that there products have shit durability.
 
Pay for direct shipping since they just email you a coupon code anyway then go ahead and order whatever if you don't want the skull candies you could sell whatever you order to someone else.
 
My skullcandy earbuds are still rocking after 2 years, had no problems with them. I got a pair of some "marley" brand earbuds givin to me recently tho and these things definetly sound way better than my skullcandy.
 
Did not realize they had this warrenty prkgram. Ive gone through a solid 15+ pairs of skullcandies in my day

My main beef with skullcandy is i keep frying the connection via the headphone jack. If they would fix this simple problem I would probably keep buying skullcandy, till i hear about a change, ill stick to my crappy 10 dollar supermarker earbuds that don't break in a month due to one of the wires coming lose inside the headphone jack.
 
I thought everyone knew this. And the only reason anyone gets them is because of the legit ass warranty so you dont care if they break
 
Yeah I had the same problem with my Lowriders. After a while one ear stopped working and then the other one too. I also had a pair of Ear Buds but I accidently fucked them upp with a chainsaw, so I can´t really blame that on Scull Candy haha.
