Don't buy an Ipod mini

I have had more fucking problems with my two Ipod minis than I care to think about. The first one froze within 3 weeks of the purchase, and so I called in and got it repaired. The second one came and was hassle free for about a month and a half, until it started having wheel problems and freezing. I sent it in via internet because the technical support over the phone is so unhelpful, and I just recieved an email saying that the damages are going to cost 205 dollars to repair, with is outrageous considering that the SECOND ipod was still under the complementary 90 day warranty, and I only payed 200 for the Ipod in the first place. I am getting sick as fuck of these stupid music players that won't work. Do yourself a favor and don't spend your money on one.

I hate it because it looks like it should be called the Prison Shower.

mine broke twice when I dropped it, but I got a completely new one on my 3 year unlimited warranty dink boy

i have gone through 3 ipod minis in less than a year. they are really not worth the time or money to get them repaired...and for the price i probably should have upgraded to a big one..but thats just my opinion.

 
i've had my 3rd gen ipod for a year and a half without ANY problems, and i still have a year to go under warranty.

i got my ipod used but it was i great condition. but then i dropped it a couple times and my click wheel is shot. i can still listen to it on shuffle though, i still use it all the time

I bought mine with a warranty at future shop for 3 years, so im kind of hoping something goes wrong so i can get a brand spankin new one... so far so good tho and its been almost 6 months.

ive left mine inside a black honda for a week..when the temperature outside was 95.. and the ipod became to hot to even hold... but it still works fine and ive had it for over 2 months now

ive dropped two minis straight to asphalt and they both still work. ive had no problems, other than running out of room on it.

You just have bad luck. I've had my mini for 6 months or so, and it works like a charm. Dropped it twice, and nothin happened.

and if anything getss wierd, just reset your ipod. hold menu and the center button and it will reset and it makes it work a little better if you do that every once in a while

just cause you had a bad experience with your doesnt mean that other people shouldnt buy them. Ive dropped mine like 5 times on cement, overshot a step down by 20 feet and landed on it and it works perfectly. For 199 its sick

its common knowledge that the 3rd generation ipods were the best made. they were the most advanced, and most durable. the frint panel was completely sealed, and they are just a better product than the new ones. i have had my 3rd gen. ipod for about 2 years, and it still works fine. it is pretty scratched up, but it works perfect. i drop it daily onto concrete, leave in in the hot car, leave it in the cold car durring winter, and its fine.
