i'm sick of reading all these post bashing Wski 106 and X. i think that they're both amazing videos and all of PBP's videos keep getting better and better. People keep bashing the radio show style in Wski 106 and all i have to say is lets see you come up with a more original idea. As far as X goes i haven't heard many bad things but still a few, and it's mostly complaints on the skiing. I've heard people say the skiiers haven't progressed since last season and sorry to tell you but how could they? except for a couple insane things here and there i wouldn't be expecting anything better from all of the athletes in their vids.

all i'm saying is basically don't bash PBP because if it weren't for them and companies following in their foot steps we wouldn't be able to see much of the insane shit that happens in these vids and newschool skiing wouldn't be where it's at.

Lots more landing switch in the BC, off sizeable cliffs too. Chads was killed this previous winter after no one but candide hitting it for like 4 years...umm a 200 foot cliff was dropped. Lots more spinning un-naturaly. A 120+ foot zero spin. Cork 810 to rail. tanners 630 to rail. Lots more technical urban rails

Wow youre right!!! Nothing new was done last season. PS I wasnt even trying to say alot of ground breaking stuff went on last season. alright there is still alot of progression taking place but for the most part it's basically all the same, except there taking park tricks to bc which is dope. anyhow this progression is even more reason not to bash pbp which was my point in the first place.

I'm not bashing PBP, and I'm not bashing x. BUT, I was very let down by wski. Not just because of the radio show (yes, it is an interesting idea and does add a unique flavor into a ski movie and is trying to do something different with it. However, it was just one of the elements that broke the flow of the movie)

Moreso, I wasn't all that impressed by the riding, the majority of music, and the overall feel of the movie.

I completely support pbp, their staff, and their riders. But wski just wasn't that great of a movie.

urban drops are really cool (and innovative, nobody two yrs ago would have said, 'drops onto completely flat concrete r so cool'), Tanner's in Wski is sik. and same w/ Dash's. Not sure if there are ne in X ill check.

tanner's part in wski is some of the bes skiing i have seen.... watch a si movie more than once before you bash it..... it takes time to fully appriciate the qualityy of a ski movie

yeah i can deal with the radio show thing but all the gay skits in the skiers parts ruin everything in the movie(just watch rory silvas part. also i dont blame pbp for wski being complete shit, i blame gay ass tanner hall. as far as X goes i think its an awesome movie but i dont know if it is good as pbp's movies last year.

 
in X they talk about how they just started makin movies, they did it and they paved the way, they are the ones that created the standard. If you look PBP has been around for 10 years now, i think 13 movies out now. Sure i think 1242 is better but its still a sick movie and a hell of a lot better than what i could do. Also you have to factor that they are lacking Joel (i forget his last name) in RFA his last edit before his passing was by far one of the best edits i have ever seen.

Tell you the one thing I REALLY didnt like about X: To much extreme slow motion!!! What the fuck..? If u want to put me to sleep, use 20% speed. otherwise, the slowest anything should ever be is 70% and that should be 2 or 3 tricks max. They way over-did the slow-mo this year and it really reminded me of a Matchstick movie.
