Hey...be happy that you have a park...when my hill sucks, we basically have to just screw around on groomers all day.
 
FUCK YOU, i have no park. i have a tiny hill with a damn t-bar as the only way of getting up. no pipe, no jumps, 2 tiny shit ass rails.
 
yeh man shut teh hell up u have no idea what some of us have as a park...yous is first rate from what i am used to...

WTF! your park at least recognizes freeskiers, and has a fuckin flat down rail that is insane.. you're naive man.. that park is so much better than oithers
 
I think your lying seeing as how it would be blasphemous to go to all the work of taking it down and setting it up over and over, when you can set it up once, and take it down once.
 
no joke ask fr33ski3r. i mean yes are park does get better later in the season but they acualy did put up that kink for that picture and our pipe is not a pipe its a square you cant ride it. we dont have the worst park

i was just kinda laughing because of we have one 6 or so foot box set up right now

dude shut up welch isnt nearly as bad as some places, its actually pretty nice compared to other shit in the midwest and dont even begin to bitch about brad either.
 
be happy and grateful that you even have a park. we have a temp park which is only a jib park-which still isnt that bad...

But really, you have it made. I have never even RIDDEN a pipe, my area sucks so bad. In February when it should be perfect, my park has two crappy hits and a couple of rails and is accessed by a super low Jbar.
 
yea its terrible, i've been skiing for too long and am aobut to hit some sicky powder tomorrow. you guys ought to move to colorado
 
HOW CAN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT??? You'll get more snow in a little bit and you'll be ripping it up. Holy shit bro, no matter how much snow we get, we'll still have a shitty park. Nice rails and boxes, groomed jumps. WTF??? You have it better than so many people.

my hill isn't open, and it has about 28 meters of vert. there are two runs. it takes about the same amount of time to walk up it as it does to take the rope tow. up until this wekk, i don't think it has been cold enough to even begin snowmaking.
 
jiminy peaks idea of a "terrain park" is just that.. an idea. our pipe has never looked like that.. more like a ufo landing zone.. a big ditch. and our rails and boxes are small and short.. not even enough time to try anything. they are soo short you dont even have time to screw up and come off early.

but hey.. its got night skiing and all thats open
 
wow my mtn is gonna open this weekend with one trail, and no snow off trail, there is no way that they will set any rail up either
 
haha no one should ever talk about a shitty hill or park until they ski at blue hills.

......but i aint complaining because skiing is skiing and skiing is fun!
 
dude, do you realize how long welch had NO park for? i'm willing to bet i am a bit older than you, but i used to get my ticket pulled all the time at hyland because skiers were not allowed in the pipe. skiers were not allowed in the park at all for awhile. shit, buck and afton didn't have a park forever either. and i'm really fucking old i guess cause i remember before hyland had a park. or vail for that matter.

not to mention, minnesota has some surpisingly good skiers coming out of it considering it has no snow, cold as temps and no verticle.

once i moved to missouri, we had to petition the local shitty hill to a) make a park b) allow skiers in the park (it was snowboard only). this was like 3 years ago. now they sponsor a freeride team of skiers and boarders. part of the deal is we have to help build/maintain the park but the tradeoff is that also means we design it. its a shame our season is like a month and a half. i average more days on snow in colorado than our place is open total.

i guess my point is be appreciative of what you have and get off your ass and do something constructive instead of bitching online.
 
wtf that park actually looks good. roller coaster box. 1/2 pipe. idiot come to fucking indiana where i have to drive 2 hrs to see anything resembling a ski hill.
 
wow, i feel much better knowing that i am having a hard time deciding which mountain to go to ski loads of pow tomorrow + park (most mtns have rails/jumps) and there's even a half pipe up at copper. sucks to be you guys, i'm using my made'naks tomorrow. :p
 
Yeah tommorow I get the choice between 60 inches of snow and no park or 45 inches and a park. Still not sure which one is gunna win.
