who cares about all these kids with armadas that suck, so they have some money and want to progress what's the big deal if they want to look good while they do it? when i was growing up every kid on the block had 'air jordans' including myself, and no it didn't make me a better basketball player, or give me false hope about becoming pro. It was just the 'cool' thing to do, and all these kids buying up a ski that they see there skiing heroes on shouldn't be such a surprise.

 
good point. If you are a young skiier and your parents are going to buy you some skis what would you rather have Armada's or some shit like dynastar agyl's?(i had myslef a pair of those once)

Air Jordans were the shit... but remember the Pumps man? holly wow... I was the first on the block with the rebock pumps, I was, and am still to this day, the shit.
