Im an american and even I cant deny that burning an american flag every now and then is fun. Now I am not saying every weekend...thats pretty sad, but when youre pissed at the president or something burning a flag really makes me feel better ya know.
 
if your best friends died in iraq i dont think you would find burning the flag to be that awesome... and when you enlist in the United States Marine Corps *like i have, and which you wont.* i doubt you will find all that to be funny. and you should watch who sees you doing taht... some people dont take kindly to that kinda shit.
 
Burning American flags should be legal, but it should also be legal to "put out" the flag with a fire hose.

Not necessarily true. I personally beleive that many people unwilling to fight for their country in this war would not face up to the challenge of any war. That's strictly my opinion.
 
lineskis how bout you shut your whining patriotic ass up. its a free country and you know what that means, we dotn ahve to fight if we dotn want to, i can sit in my basement and smoke pot all day if i want to because somebody is fighting for that but you cant call people cowards for not joining the army and for going to canada, im moving ot canada as soon as i graduate college but that dosent make me a coward or mean i ahte america, its all for the skiing,plus theres nothing in out country that says you have to go to war and its not like your over there fighting,i know people in iraq and it dosent seem liek youve got the balls to defend the country you claim to love so much so until i see your ass in a uniform in the dessert dotn fuckign talk ever again. okay? thanks.
 
actually technically they werent all wars, wwII was the last congressionally declared war. i think that is one of the reasons people aren't so supportive of them, and arent so willing to lose their lives for something that isnt really a war.
