The ME262 was a decent plane, it was fast but turned horribly and had a a small pay load, it wasn't good enough, it came out in the very last few months of the war and did reak havoc, and the whole war would ahve been changed but still the P51 had a much better turning radius, way more agile. And the P38 Lightning had a better payload and was still fast. End point, Messerschmidt released that plane months before the war was over. The Arado 234 Blitz also came out too late.
 
You can't win iraq with a plane, its really not a war, its a policing action found inside homes and cities, everything else we have already decimated by our bombers

whilel I am making you look like an idiot. I weighed 135 pounds when I bought them, they are way wider then most skiis giving me more surface area, and not needing as much length. They are 125 mm wide jackass, and I ride another pair of 183's now. Now back to war.
 
i like how so many people are saying we need to assassinate George W. What would that accomplish? It would just put Cheany in power who believes in all the views that Bush does and may even be more of an asshole.
 
I think that we are more likely to go to War with China for other reasons really. China is amassing a HUGE army. Maybe the largest anyone has ever had. If they get too ambitious, they will try to take Tiawan and maybe some other nations around them. I seriosly doubt that Russian and China will ever fight together against the US. Maybe, just maybe if China and North Korea worked things out, they could be alies, but I kinda doubt Russia. Also, if the scenario Lord Piot presented happens, it will easily be world war 3, in which case Canada will be allied with the US and Great Britain. Sorry man, you are not safe up there in Canada...your more of a buffer to the north than anything, ally or not.
 
Is there really much tension between each other though? I think someone will try to mix us up with russia through terrorism, if the suitcase nuke rumors are true.
 
I am sorry that I stumbled upon this, but Mcdonald Douglas hasn't had a contract for new planes in decades, boeing isn't developing much in the military sector either. It is Lockheed Martin, dipshit.
 
im pretty sure your wrong. not only are you not documenting your claims, and disagreeing with an overt statment by the US secratary of war of the period, but the idea that japan would be afraid of china at that time is ludicris. china was in the midst of its own civil war that had been going on since the 30's the communists were still four years away from taking control of the country, and japan had already conqured manchuria and installed the former emporer of china as a puppet ruler there. the government of sun yat sen was in shambles. they had a smattering of US weaponry, but not enough to win their own civil war, let alone take on the greatest military power in the pacific.

im afraid that youre 100% wrong on this one. you can try to argue your point, but youve provided no documentation, and your assertion flys in the face of historical fact. the mitsubishi corperation alone could have whipped china, let alone the entire nation of japan.

Dude Icc none of your points hold anything up, pm'ing me ain't gunna help either. Even tho I don't agree with Scratch and Wilkes alot of the time, I have to think about what theey are saying because they are viable.
 
I don't know about the Japan part. I can't say I know I will ahve to read up on it, but I think that the a-bomb was the reasoning, Ihave read a ton of Books on WW2 and its always been about the bomb. But you may be right.

its funny to think that this summer in basic training i will be training to help protect people who dont respect or even care that us 18-20 year olds are even there.
 
yes they were wars, the thing is they werent popular wars, so people dont talk about them as much as say wwII. except for iraq, but that's just because it's current.

also i'd like to say that this is the worst political thread i can remember reading. i doubt any of you actually looked at the links before posting.
 
I don't think that the people who want to run to Canada, or those who do not support war, are against the soldiers. I'm not supportive of this war, but I would go if I was needed. With that said, I also fully support the soldiers risking their lives to protect us. I am proud of those who do so.

Some people really piss me off. Listen to you people talk about the US and how you hate it. Do you realize that people have died so that you are free to ski when ever you want where ever you want. And pussyfooter i wish you and all the rest of you that want to move to Canada would. You don't deserve to live in this great country that all you do is talk smack about and run your mouths on the President. Get the hell out of the US. These men did not die for the freedom of our country for people like you.
