I'm going to the premier...or I guess re-premier of donnie darko tonight. Its fun to get invited to the premier of a re-release of one of your favorite movies, I hope these extra scenes are rad.

my girlfriends dad was a producer for it. And it comes out in theatres in LA and New York the 23rd and depending how it does it may be released everywhere.

 
Is this the director's cut? Because that, I would like to see.

OH MY GOD DONNIE DARKO SOLD OUT TO THE MAINSTREAM PUBLIC AMERICAN MEDIA. what the fuck you you care? you might get to see it in theaters again, which is great, and it's not hurting anybody.

yeah, its the directors cut. And when it was first released it made no money, i think around 500,000. but its made over 10 million on dvd, obviously because more people are starting to hear about it and like it, so why not try again?

 
that was awesome. I really thinked the added scenes, even though there were only a few, helped the movie. some things became slgithly clearer. And jake galweuwefejeriof whatever is a rad guy and admitted that he doesnt even really understand the ending but oh well.

 
Are they releasing the director's cut on DVD? Because I should probably own DD, but I'll wait, if they are.

Seriously, whats the fascination with this movie? Its not that great of a twist...at all. Shit the butterfly effect did a much better job witht he same kind of story.
