Well since you guys went and SOLD OUT...jk... you told us not to be donating as of right now, so i was wondering are you going to keep that forum, or what? Since your asking us not to donate and have some money now, would be be paying just to see that forum?

Donators should really quit acting like snobs. You have potential to be respectful people, until you start acting like you're god's gift to Newschoolers because you had a chance to donate before some others. Get over it. It's getting mad annoying.
 
I understand that. But you have to look at it from a non-donators point of view. At least the ones who never had a chance to contribute to this great site. Will never see the hot girl thread, which I would love to glance at. But then have to read your stupid posts, that make you look like complete stuck up snobs. Joking or not, it gets really annoying. And I'm pretty sick of it. What makes you think that others wouldn't still donate if they had the chance? Hmmm? And not donate to get the "1337" status, but to donate to help the site. That's why you donated in the first place, correct?

EXACTLY...And in response to snwbrdmlf's post above in regards to people wanting to donate. Everyone that says, "Oh I was going to donate, but now we cant"...Blah blah that is fucking bullshit. You would have donated before and now that you haven't you regret it, but you need to face the fact that you didn't, and no matter how much you say in the will to donate, you wouldn't have done it if the donating was still around. Face it, donator's are 1337
 
I understand what you're getting at. Believe me, I see it. And no, I don't have to read your posts. But what you're not getting is that you guys have taken the status of someone who contributed to the site (for generous reasons), to now someone who thinks they're better than the site. Have you ever thought about the fact that maybe not everyone has the chance to donate? Maybe their parents wouldn't give them the money. Maybe they're saving up for their first car. Maybe they need a new pair of skis. Just because you donate, does not make you better than anyone else. And I feel with all these silly little posts of "We're elite" gets old. Mad old.
 
i just gave up a meal at chick fil a and sent in the money that was in my wallet($7). it shouldn't be your parents money either. It wasn't hard for people to send in a few dollars.

btw, what the fuck is 1337?
 
I really dont think that we think we are better than anyone, we are just showing our status (that proboly sounded contradicting) but I think that we are mainly joking around. And we use other, non-donators, words (like this thread) to just take advantage of it. And for donations, I gaurentee you that 90 percent or more of us have donated our own money. My mom encouraged me to donate more than i was going to originally, and she warned me, that it was my money, blah blah. But as you listed off a bunch of things (car, skis, etc)for most people that are in that case and said they would have donated if they would have known, THERE WOULD ALWAYS BE SOMETHING ELSE THEY HAD TO BUY. they wouldn't have donated regardless of what they said. And even if the administrators allowed donations again many of the kids who claim to want to donate wont. And I gaurentee you that.

I'm sorry, but this is totally weak. Stop bitching that you can't see the forum because you didn't donate when you were around long enough to have donated. You didn't donate in the time that you had, the chance is lost, stop assuming that we are snobs. If anything, we are the fucking least snobbiest people on the site, donating our hard earned cash to keep this site running for people like you. Not one donator thinks they're elite over anyone else. We're making jokes because you people are taking this shit over the top, and assuming that we are 'elitists'

bullshit, i know that i would donate if i had the chance, and if they do let us donate again like towards end of summer i guarantee you i will.

i just dont know how much to donate....people say $50 is a green dollar sign, but i just see that someone donated $7? what the fuck is this shit.

I planned to donate when I got 1000 posts, so I wouldn't look like some douche. Obviously, I didn't reach 1000 posts in time, so I'm SOL 'til they give people a chance to donate again.
 
Actually there are many of donaters that have less posts than you. It shouldnt fucking matter how many posts you have to donate. People use this site as much as most do, they should donate. Regardless of the posts. you saying oh at 1000 posts, you wont donate. if you do you can call me out, w/e but you wont. And 50 is green!
 
I donated about the same time I joined because I had lurked for so long.

I felt like I was stealing and decided to give something back.
 
i donated when ns stickers came around i always wanted to but never really did but as soon as the stickers came the sase was already on the way i may as well slip in 15 dollars and yea the donators forum is a pretty good time
 
Imagine the scene from Wet hot American summer where all the counselors take a trip into town. That's what the donators forum is like..
 
my friend donated when she had 0 posts. who cares about posts, theres people who are on here more than anyone and they have small post counts. it doesnt matter

There will be a donation program set back up, we're just trying to figure out how to make it fair for you guys.

 
Geez you guys are really touchy about your donators status. I could care less if i saw the forum or not, i was just asking a question what was going to happen. I could have donated, but i decided not to, i dont have mommy and daddys money to spend.
 
Clearly you didnt read many posts, because more than 90 percent of the donators dont use there parents money. People use their hard earned money and put it to this place so it can keep going while you sit there doing nothing but hog server space
 
Most make jokes about the status, but like said above a lot of donators are in your situation and still decide to donate. I live on my own, and pay all my own shit (car, ins., food, rent, bills) and still found money to pay NS for their outstanding service to this community. As far as the forum goes I didn't even know there was a donator forum for almost a year after i donated.
 
To elaborate on my point, I was setting a goal for myself, so that I would feel as though I was contributing to the site by words and idea's, as well as money. Just a goal.
